STEWART WINDOWS

The project went really well. We selected triple pane windows with different interior and exterior colors. We did the same with the patio. Dan was knowledgeable about his products and took the time to provide detailed information relating to energy cost factors, security, and warranties. After the initial installation of 4 windows, we experienced a profound reduction of outside noise. Then after the installation of the remaining 3 windows, we started receiving letters from IPL of how we rated in our neighborhood with reducing our energy consumption. We used 22% less electricity and our home is totally electric. This summer, Dan installed our new patio door. We're excited! These windows will pay for themselves by keeping the cool air in during the summer and the cold air out in the winter. We see the noise barrier as an added bonus. Dan is an independent contractor, but one we will always talk highly of and will refer others to. He's punctual, dependable, and skilled.

This price included the price of the windows and installation.  Stewart even fixed some of the rotten wood underneath my window sill at no charge.  I am very happy with the service I received from Stewart.  He is very professional and a pleasure to work work with.  I would highly recommend him to anyone needing windows installed properly.

Went well. Never did get an actual breakdown of what was the actual cost of the windows for tax purposes though, even though we asked for that several times.

Stewart Windows was recommended by a neighbor who recently had the same type of windows installed. Dan was prompt in responding when making appointments and setting up delivery and installation. He was friendly and explained the process to us. The weather cooperated and the project was completed in two days. I am really enjoying the new windows. He and his assistant did a good job of cleaning up when the job was complete.

He had to send back the first set of windows due to the fit. They are punctual and dependable. Very personable and a nice guy.

They were excellent. They were polite, knowledgeable and professional. They got the job done in a timely manner and showed up on time. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

DAN AND HIS SON INSTALLED THE WINDOWS IN ONE DAY. THEY WERE EASY TO CONTACT, CAME ON TIME, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING UP WHEN DONE. WE THEN HAD THEM REPLACE OUR EXTERNAL DOORS ALSO. A VERY NICE GUY AS WELL.

DAN HAD PREVIOUSLY DONE OUR WINDOWS AND WE WERE ONCE AGAIN QUITE PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND HIS PROFESSIONALISM.

WE HAD PURCHASED WINDOWS FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AND HE CAME TO INSTALL THEM. HE WAS VERY GOOD, DID EXCELLENT CLEAN UP AND THEY WERE VERY FAST. ALL WORK WAS DONE DURING THE WINTER AND HE MADE SURE NOT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS FOR VERY LONG. DAN AND HIS SON WERE EXCELLENT.

STEWART SUBBED JOB BUT PROVIDED LITTLE OVERSIGHT. INSPECTED WORK ONLY WHEN FORCED TO. WORKERS DESTROYED TREES, SHRUB (TO STEWART''S CREDIT, MADE GOOD ON THIS); THREW TRASH; DIDN''T SHOW UP FOR A WEEK OR TWO AT A TIME. COMMITTED TO FINISH JOB IN 1 MONTH, BUT DRAGGED OUT FOR 2 MONTHS. WAS IN HURRY TO GET PAID THOUGH. YARD & DRIVE COVERED WITH NAILS AND PIECES OF SIDING. SLOPPY WORKMANSHIP. LEFT OUTDOOR FIXTURES HANGING, CLEARLY WITH NO INTENT TO RE-ATTACH. STEWART USUALLY APOLOGETIC BUT REMAINED UNINVOLVED EVEN THOUGH CLEAR THINGS NOT GOING WELL. HAD TO COMPLAIN TO GET HIM TO PAY ANY ATTENTION. TO HIS CREDIT, ADDRESSED MOST PROBLEMS BUT EFFORT ALWAYS MINIMAL. GAPS IN SIDING SIMPLY HAD CAULK SLAPPED ON. HOUSE NOW HAS A LEAK. WORKERS WOULD COME TO FIX PROBLEMS AND CREATE 2 OR 3 NEW ONES. FINALLY JUST PAID HIM TO GET HIM OUT OF OUR LIVES. WILL HAVE BIG CLEANUP AND FINISHING JOB TO DO IN SPRING. WORKERS REPRESENTED HIM POORLY AND SO DID HE. BAD EXPERIENCE.
