Initially, the experience went well.  They did a nice job on the cleaning and were pleasant to my family while in our home.  However, after a few months, things changed.  They cancelled 3 times out of 4 scheduled cleanings, each time with a different excuse.  This was made even worse in that during this time, my wife was relegated to bed rest due to complications with her pregnancy.  When we finally asked what was going on, we were told, "Oh yeah, we've been meaning to tell you that we are quitting your house.  The amount we are being paid is not enough for the job."  We only paid the rate they quoted us in the beginning, even raising it by 5% after a couple months on our own accord!  I could not believe how unprofessional this was.

Needless to say, Shelly Brite Cleaning left us hanging, and at a very critical time no less.  Although good cleaners, I cannot recommend them to anyone nor will we use them again.  

I chose them because they were the first ones that came out from among the bunch that I contacted. It's a husband and wife team and I liked them. They seemed very personable at first and were willing to do anything. However, while they were cleaning, I found that they were skipping over stuff. They told me that they had cleaned everything when I asked them if they did it or not, but I knew that they hadn't. She had also switched days on me and she got another client when I had gone out of town. She gave me different schedule because of her new client. So, I never liked that. I probably wouldn't use their services in the future.

They do a really good job cleaning. They even clean things that they notice, that I didn't specifically ask them to clean. They are very flexible with scheduling. Today I have a sick child and they said it was no problem, and that she would work me in sometime next week.

They are very professional, told us at the beginning what they would need, asked what we wanted and expected, and they have done that and more. They see things that need to be done, and they do it -- for example straightening and cleaning the floor of the pantry, or a mark on the wall that can be cleaned off. They are always willing to clean something i may have noticed that was missed previously, or wasn't part of their typical routine, and they don't make me feel bad for asking. They are both polite and professional.

Dependable, honest, careful. Been working with them for many years now.

After calling many of the businesses listed on Angie's List and personally interviewing several services we decided to go with Shelly Brite. They will clean our house every two weeks. They have been here once and spent twice as much time as my previous service. They were very thorough and very concerned that I was pleased with their work. If this level of performance keeps up I will keep using them for a long, long time. I highly recommend them.

They are reliable, so honest, always dependable, and call ahead if they're ill or something comes up.

SHELLY AND HER HUSBAND REARRANGED THEIR SCHEDULE TO WORK ME IN AS I WAS HAVING AN OPEN HOUSE. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL AND THOROUGH, THEY WERE HERE 5 HOURS. THE HOUSE LOOKED WONDERFUL. THEY REMOVED THEIR SHOES IN MY HOUSE, WHICH IMPRESSED ME VERY MUCH. THEY WORE SPECIAL SHOES INSIDE. THEY CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM THEIR APPOINTMENT. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND YET VERY PERSONABLE. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. THEIR PRICE TO CLEAN WEEKLY IS LESS.

SHELLY IS A VERY UNIQUE, KIND, FRIENDLY AND OBSERVANT PERSON. NOT ONLY DOES SHE CLEAN, SHE ALSO CHECKS FOR FIRE HAZARDS AND IS HER OWN HANDYWOMAN. SHE IS POLITE, REASONABLY PRICED AND JUST AN OVERALL NICE PERSON.
