The first visit seemed to go ok. I was told the exam included follow up visits in order to assure that I was fitted with the right contacts and prescription for me. I was given a trial pair to wear at the first appointment. I returned a few days later for a follow up appointment. I informed the doctor that I couldn't see clearly with the fitted lens. She gave me another lens to try. That lens seems to work better, but wasn't perfect. I ordered additional lens as I needed them. After receiving the lens prescription the lens continued to trouble me and I could not see clearly. I returned without an appointment, but it was at the end of the day and the doctor made time to see me. However, I was charged an additional fee for the appointment despite the fact that I was never fitted properly from the initial visit. The doctor informed me that I had some sort of unnamed eye desease and that the prescription I received was from the orginal fitting and not the updated prescription given to me on the first follow up. The doctor indicated this was a combination of my error and Sam's Club retail folks and not her own so she would not give me a refund. By this time, I was scared out of my wits, because I had never had any real eye problems before and certainly no deseases. I went back to my former optometrist who determined that the lens I was fitted with at SAMs were not right for me. He siad they just don't work for everyone. He said I had absolutely no eye desease other than being nearsighted. In retrospect, I feel the action of the optometrist at SAMs was negligent and detrimental. I will never go the SAMs for Optometry or professional service of any type.

I got some contacts from here. The price can't be beat. I use the acuvue oasys lenses and they have a great price. They were nice and had my lenses in stock. I would go back again.

I have been able to get partial refills when necessary without any hesitation from the pharmacist. You can call in your prescriptions and they will have them ready for you the same day.

I was impressed with the thoroughness of the exam. I had not had my eyes examined in 30 years. I have been wearing readers for 20 years and this doctor said that she could not improve the vision that much and said the readers were working just fine. I appreciated her honesty and candor. They have tons of glasses she could have sold me. I was just walking by and went in. They were able to take me at that time, but they gave me options.

So so. One script that was left was not in stock. Upon returning 5 days later they did not have it filled nor have the doctor's script. This is not the first time with a problem with this store. A few other times the tech was to call the doctor(s) and have refills made, and have not done so.

VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THEY ALSO HAVE ELECTRIC CHAIRS TO SHOP WITH. PURCHASED A SYLVANIA. THEY HAD A GREAT SELECTION OF SIZES AND BRANDS.

THEY NOTIFIED ME THAT A STUD AND A LUG NUT WERE DAMAGED WHILE WORK WAS BEING DONE. THEY ASKED THAT I GET THE DAMAGE REPAIRED AND GIVE THEM THE BILL, WHICH THEY PROMPTLY PAID.

INSTALLATION TOOK ONLY 25 MINUTES. VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. SAM''S CLUB MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.
