+ -1 moreWe met with Donna and we really like that there wasn't a set block of time that we had to work with in order to be in and out for another event. When we rented the space it was from 12:00 AM to 11:50PM the day of the event, although because it was a December wedding and there were no other events, we were able to get in on the Thursday and Friday prior to the wedding to do centerpieces and other details, instead of trying to do them the day of the event. It was really nice, because we were able to move tables around to create a seating format that fit the event based on the 280 guests we had attending. Food was the best, and we've had a lot of great comments by our guests to support that. We rented a dance floor and had a round table for Bride & Groom and their parents on it (instead of head table), which was taken down when we cut the cake right before dancing. Whole evening went without problems and venue is great for wedding photos.
Description of Work: We rented out the banquet hall and bar for our December wedding reception. The food and beverage manager (Donna Martin) and the chef (Jon Hicks) were good to work with. They honored our request to do a food tasting before we made our food selections, and then we were able to provide our own centerpieces for the tables. Salad was mixed lettuces (romaine, iceberg, and field greens), apples, pears, toasted walnuts and caramelized onions and blue cheese. Entr e consisted of Grilled Sirloin with Red Wine Jus, Lemon and Tarragon Chicken, and Seared Chicken with Mushrooms and Sherry. Sides included Roasted Potato Medley, Steamed Broccoli with Butter and Sea Salt. Beverages included Tea, Coffee and Water and we added the unlimited soft drink package. All other beverages were on a cash bar basis.
