They know their customer. They always remember me and my dog. After the appointment, they always follow up within the next day to see how things are going and to see if there's anything else that needs to be done. It's very family-focused. It has a small staff which makes it nice. I've been using them for 5 years.

Dr. Herrmann, DVM, was a decent vet when we I first met him years ago. Since then he caters to the wealthy and not to the people in need. It is all about the money to him now, which is why he personally resides in Carmel. I forgive him for misdiagnosing my pet a few years ago that I had to have put down but I cannot forgive him for letting his staff treat me badly. I live paycheck to paycheck so when I have to help my pets which are my family to me I try to make the best choice. When my last pet was dying and I tried to get a response I finally did, only to be scolded by Sandy, one of his RVT's. Then I apogized being that it was an emotional time even though they never apologized and I used him again. I have paid thousands of dollars to him and I have referred him but those people have said the same kind of comments back to me. He is about the almighty dollar. I tried again to get some prices quoted and Becky his receptionist, talked over the top of me, almost yelling and treated me like I was nobody. Then she hung up on me and upon realizing what she did she called me back and acted like nothing happened. I asked for price ranges and asked if there were payment plan options. She was nasty again and I told her that they just lost me as a customer. I then left a message for Herrmann. He called me back leaving me a message saying that and quot;I don't know where this conversation can goand quot;...and quot;you have a history of being rudeand quot;...and quot;payments and services are non-negotiableand quot;....and quot;you can call an make an appointment if you wishand quot;...it was all said in a confrontational and condescending manner. So, now that I am one of the people who funded his new facility I am treated like an unwanted animal.

Our vet is really incredible. It's a two vet practice. The young lady there is exceptional. We had to put our older dog down this year and being that they are mobile veterinarians we requested they come to the house, they did everything in the house which made it a lot easier for me emotionally. She's always so caring about her service. She is really in touch with the animals and she is very tender with them. She reads the charts and she makes sure that she remembers what she did the time before. They are just very professional. I like that when comes to care for animals. And they are very courteous, they work with you. They mail me my medicine. They are just people that you would really want to care for your animals. I really enjoy that. They will come to the home or you go there, it's your choice. What ever you feel like doing. They come here and they take them in the van and they take care of them and bring them out. We are done. We pay them and they go. The dogs are more comfortable being at home. It kind of works out. They just charge a little more to come to the home, but the medicine and the vet regular vet services is comparable to other veterinarians.

The mobile vet is so convenient, and Dr. Stroh is really wonderful. She is very caring and gentle with the dogs. I won't use another vet!

The original procedure was good, but the follow up has left a lot to be desired. The external wound was sealed with glue, despite the size of the incision (around 6 inches long if not bigger). I feel like if they had listened to the fact that she is a very wiggly high energy dog that they would have made the conclusion that glue was probably not going to work. We had to take her back in to have staples put in. These barely lasted long enough for the wound to heal (that of course is not their fault, but a good indication that glue should have never been the choice in the first place). Also, we were told that the internal wound was done with dissolvable sutures. After about a month or so we started seeing thread pushing out from the scarred area. We called and the vet said that would happen over time and was normal (seems odd since they are supposed to be dissolvable). So we left it alone. Now, two months along she has what looks like a cyst or very inflamed spot on the scar that she will not even let anyone touch. It is my suspicion that these 'dissolvable' sutures have caused an internal irritation. Regardless, it has been such a pain going back and forth. While I know that some of these things are out of their control, the quality felt and feels lacking.
I will say they are very nice and professional and the pricing is good, but after this issue is finally resolved we will be taking our pet elsewhere for future care.

"Dear (Member name removed), We are sorry to hear that you and your spouse were not happy with your experience with our services. We strive to meet all of our clients’ and patients’ needs to the fullest potential. We wish we could have heard about your dissatisfaction earlier, as we would have tried to clear up any miscommunication and tried to meet your expectations. Surgical procedures in our clinic are all handled in the same manner regardless of whether the animal was adopted or bought from a breeder. Abdominal incisions are closed in 3 layers with absorbable suture being used to close the muscular layer, subcutaneous layer, and skin. Absorbable suture, as the discharge instructions state, can take up to 4-6 months to completely dissolve. There is a potential for the pets to have some irritation as the body is trying to dissolve the suture material. Skin adhesive (or glue) is sometimes placed over the top of the closed incision to provide an added bit of security, especially for some of our more active patients. We definitely understand how difficult it can be to keep some of these patients quiet enough for their incisions to heal. We really try to minimize follow-up care as much as possible. Unfortunately, when it does occur we try to compensate (ex. no exam fee, free antibiotics, etc.) the owner to offset them for their inconvenience. We are sorry that you didn’t feel this was evident on your two follow-up visits. Your comfort level is critically important to your choice of veterinarians, and it seems we have failed to provide the level of treatment you were seeking. We respect your review and will take your words to heart."

We were very pleased with this service. Our 13 year old dog had a terminal spinal condition and it was beginning to suffer. We arranged for them to come to our home. They were very understanding and compassionate and did not try to talk us into expensive testing or treatment. It was so nice to be able to walk him to the van instead of hurting him trying to lift him in and out of the car. A few days later we received a sympathy card signed by each member of the staff.

This was our first visit to Mobile Veterinary Care. Our previous Vet had closed so we were looking for a new provider. I like the idea that Mobile Veterinary Care will do house calls, if needed. We went into the office and met the staff. Dr Kelly Everson spent more time than I can ever remember having a Vet spend with our dog. She did a very extensive wellness exam including checking all of his jointsand flexibility. She was very thorough and explained everything she found. I am very pleased we have established this practice as our new Vet and definitley recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and professional vet practice.

Mobile Vet Care has been pretty good. They walk your animal out there and take care of your pet. There is no loud noises because there are no barking dogs or loud cats since my pet is the only one in the truck. It really works out for my older pet. Theya re good with the animals and Dr. Herman is not one who prescribes 10 different medications for something very simple, he gives us one thing and tells me to try it and see if it works. It is very nice because I do not have to get in the car and drive my pet to the vet, it is very convenient.

The thing I liked about them is that they publish their price list online. I went in and they were just nice, super people that care about animals. They can also come to your house for only 10 more dollars. They really care about your pet and they are very hands on.

We have used Dr. Herrmann for a few years now; we have a large multiple-cat household and taking them all to a vet would be next to impossible. Both he and the new vet are wonderful with our kitties and we would recommend highly. He is always willing to work with us even when we have rough schedules to work around, and they are consistently the best around when it comes to pricing.

The mobile groomer came out and did a full work up on our new dog Toro. He was not in the best of health as his previous owner did not take the best care of him. During the check up they found a large hot spot on his back, fleas and severe athritis his back legs. They treated him on site and helped us with how to continue the treatment in the future. This is a long term project as he didn't come to us in the best health. We will continue working with mobile vet care throughout this process until he is in his best health possible.

Because she can't get in our vehicles, we have someone come out in a truck to the house to care for our English Mastiff. They are very good. Thy have meds on board and there is usually a nurse there with the doctor. They check her out completely and give her her shots. If there is anything wrong they will take care of that. They also clip her toenails. The first time they came here they were wonderful. I just call and tell them who I am and who the dog is and tell them what she needs and they are here usually the same day. I have never had to wait over a couple days. If something happens to her they will come and pick her up.

He was here for almost 2 hours, he did x-rays and biopsies. He thought our dog had jaw cancer. Dr. Hermann came back on the 27th to put our dog down. He went above and beyond. Our dog was 14 years old. Dr. Herman had compassion and would put him to sleep wherever was comfortable for us. We chose to have him put to sleep on our patio. He answered all of our questions and stayed with us for about 30-45 minutes. He said if we had any questions or needed to talk to him to just call. He was phenominal. I don't think his prices are any higher than taking your animal to a vet. I can't speak highly enough for Dr. Hermann.

He is always great. I once visited a friend and saw Dr. H's van parked at her neighbors. I forget that he sees other patients because when he is here, he gives my animals his full attention.

They are a mobile vet care. They did the surgery in our driveway. The dog likes him and he comes when we need him. We are very happy with him. Our dog is very hyper so it is hard to get him to the vet, that is why we love him.
