It went as expected. I have used Merino Landscape for three years running to do a variety of clean-up, mulching, flower planting, etc. and have always had great results. I may be adding a recurring mowing schedule as their crew does a great job and they are very reasonable on price.

Wonderfully. It looks great, and they took the debris with them. Mr. Merino and his crew did a fabulous job. Mr. Merino had great ideas and suggestions of what to do. Very helpful.

He did an excellent, excellent job. He was here every day and had a wonderful crew. It was a 2-layer wall and I just can't say enough good things about him. We've had him out since then for other jobs. They were a really nice group of people to work with, he listened, and gave us exactly what we wanted. Hard worker. He takes pride in his work - that to me is very important.

Ramiro is a true professional. He always arrives on time. He came with his assistant and all the materials. He redesigned a very large planting bed in front of our home, near the entrance. It was an eyesore of old plantings and way too much expanse of mulch. Ramiro artfully arranged bushes, plants and roses to accent the home. He cut the bed size by a third by adding sod which transformed the look of the front yard. It is so much more inviting and adds to the curb appeal of the house. Neighbors have complimented the work. Ramiro is very diligent about making sure you know what he will do before he begins. He is open to suggestions and has a Blackberry full of examples of flowers and trees to show what a plant will look like. I wanted to replace old concrete pavers with pieces of flagstone. Trusting Ramiro, I asked him to select some for me, keeping in mind the colors of the house. It was a gamble, since everyone's taste is different. He returned with exquisite flagstones with colors that beautifully accented our brick. We are using his landscaping services again this spring. But this time, I think I will show him my poor neglected deck too!

I called to request an estimate on 3/21/2011. The appointment for the estimate was set for 3/23/2011. Ramiro showed up for the appointment as promised (a little early even!) and discussed all my concerns and needs, made suggestions and was not pushy when he suggested services I was not currently interested in. Once I gathered my estimates, I decided to work with Merino Landscape and called to set up the service with Ramiro. The service was scheduled for Friday, March 25. Ramiro arrived early Friday morning and got right to work. The work I requested was all handled, done well and all clean up was completed. Our house had been occupied by tenants for 3 years and the landscape beds were all overgrown and completely unkept. Ramiro did an excellent job getting the beds back into shape and even removed some large branches that were growing up through the fence. The branches had pushed out one of the fence planks which Ramiro repaired before he left. I am very pleased with the overall service performed. The price seemed to be in line with other companies. I only have one small suggestion. At the mid point of the job, Ramiro did leave for what I assumed was a lunch break. I also assumed Ramiro would need to off load the branches and trimmings he had removed from the yard and pick up mulch. I had to assume these things as I didn't get any update from Ramiro before he left. When no one had returned several hours later, I called Ramiro to confirm that he would return that day to complete the job. Ramiro confirmed that the job would be completed that day and it was. My suggestion would be that Ramiro may want to provide a quick update to the customer before leaving a job in progress. This really is a minor concern and I don't wish to discourage anyone from using Merino Landscape based on this small concern. The pluses definitely outweighed this one small minus!
