Horrible, we had to have the flooring replaced 3 times due to it not being done properly leveled before installed.  The third time was good until few months ago started having squeaking and boards moving in 3 places we had Keller Interiors which is one of their subcontractors come out to replace 3 areas which we paid $300 for and the boards are not laying down flat they have one side raised up and can trip you.  We no longer have but 1 spare piece left and they have now discontinued our flooring.  The one edge of the floor is loose and looks like not glue to hold it down and doesn't look attached to the other side and will probably evently break.  Absolute total nightmare!

I have never written a review before but I want to share my experience with Lowe's store #1191 in Noblesville, IN. I needed a sliding door and window replaced in a recently purchased home. I went the normal route of calling highly rated contractors off Angieslist.com but kept getting the "run-around". I gave up trying to get a conventional contractor to do the job. I decided to use Lowe's Installation Services as I expected a better experience than a conventional contractor. The process started on June 14th by meeting with a Lowe's associate and explaining my needs. The associate then set an appointment for the following Tuesday to have a Lowe's employee come out and give an estimate. The estimate was vague and lacked any details as to what was being purchased. I had a general idea of the cost of the job as I had already been to the store and priced the necessary parts and labor for the job. The estimate came in about $220 higher than I expected. I asked the gentleman to elaborate further on the pricing but he would only give a combined amount without a breakdown. I held off on writing him a check until I checked out prices a little further. I went back to Lowe's and checked the prices and all was what I had thought. I contacted the gentleman who had made the estimate once again and questioned him about the pricing. Before I could even share my findings he said there was a mistake and dropped the price over $200. At that point, I felt like I would have had to pay the additional $200 had I not brought up the subject. The next step in the process was to set an appointment to have an installer come out on June 24th and take measurements. As it turns out, the installer was just a contractor that did jobs for Lowe's. After the measurements were taken I asked the installer what the wait would be before the installation would take place. The installer told me that he was on vacation the following week for July 4th, but installation would likely be a week afterward. I received a call from Lowe's about 3 days (June 27th) later notifying me that the necessary parts were ordered. On July 14th, I had not heard from anyone about my installation status. I called the installer, and had to describe for him the job and location to refresh his memory. Once I had given the description of the job, the installer told me he forgot about the job. I assumed that his admission of forgetfulness would result in a swift resolution only to find he could not do the job until July 28th at 9 a.m. Disappointed, I requested a quicker date but was told that was the soonest that he could perform the job. I accepted the appointment and requested a day off from work to have the job performed. I was concerned though with the forgetful nature of the installer. I decided to follow up with the installer to be sure he would do the installation on July 28th. I called on July 23,24, and 25th each time leaving a message. On the 25th, I was not happy with the lack of response. I called the Lowe's store to confirm the appointment and was told July 28th at 9 a.m. That evening the installer finally returned my call and confirmed the installation date. The installer arrived with 3 helpers, albeit 20 minutes late to perform the job. The installer blamed being late on Lowe's for not having the screen slider that was part of the purchase. I was told he would bring the screen door once he received it.  The installation went well and seemed to be going seamlessly. The installer finished up and took the old parts away. I did notice that the deck that the installers had used to access the sliding door was covered in footsteps and dry wall dust. It was a mess but I was able to get it cleaned up. The installer did return the following day and left the screen door. Three days after the install, a Lowe's employee called to ask how things went. I told her that I was not satisfied with the installation process for the complete lack of both communication and professionalism. The lady on the phone seemed almost surprised to hear a critical response but thanked me for my business. 
As I mentioned previously, I have never written a review of any shape or form. I do read reviews before buying products and services though. I felt obligated after my experience to write this review to warn others of what to expect. I am a regular shopper at Lowe's but do not like the way they handled my business. I will not use their installation services again and will discourage anyone else to do the same. I never felt like anyone went the extra mile for me. There was no personal touch or attention to detail In the end I got the same "run-around" that I thought I was avoiding by going to Lowe's.

We gave them the measurements for the space, and he put them in the computer, and after playing around with the design and redisigning, he ended up adding 6 inches to the cabinets. When they came, they didn't fit. They were very good about it, and when I told them that it was an error on their part, they said they would order them again. They said it would take 2 weeks, and it ended up being 4 and half weeks. Their responsiveness as far as letting me knw the status, was non-existent. I had to call them multiple times to find out what the status of the replacement cabinets was.

It took half a day and it went fine. We picked it out, the order went through fine. It came in and there were no twitches. They came and installed the carpet and everything went without a problem. It was a very seamless process. It was fast and there were no problems.

I liked the product and I liked the finished flooring. I just had problems with the installation company and their scheduling and the way that they did things, and the whole process we had to go through to get a couple of things fixed. The price was fair. I would use Lowe's again, but I would request a different installation company.

Sales experience was fine.  We shopped around and felt like we got a good deal with Lowe's during a sales event and a rebate time for the appliance maker as well.  Our biggest concerns after the sale was with delivery and installation. Our friends had recounted terrible experiences with other companies and poor installations.  The Angie's list reviews for Lowe's was part of our process and contributed to our choice of going with Lowe's.



The refrigerator was delivered first since it was in stock.  The delivery went well. The guys were on time and very nice.  My only disappointment was that the guys didn't remove all of the plastic wrap that is involved in protecting stainless steel appliances. The guys seemed a little hurried. My husband and I probably spent another hour picking the rest of the plastic off.  We did get a call from Lowe's later making sure everything went well. 



The other 3 appliances were special order so they were delivered a few days later.  Again the installer called in advance , was on time and did a great job.  He let me take time to clean where my stove and dishwasher had been. These are both appliances you  don't pull out to clean behind easily. He actually ran the dishwasher part of a cycle to make sure it didn't leak.  He heated up the stove and ran it to burn off any potential odor and again insure everything was fine.  He also tested the microwave, set the clocks on the stove and microwave.  He gave us some tips on use and made sure we knew the books for each were there too.  He got all of the plastic off the stainless steel and just really seemed to want to make sure we had a good experience. Toward the end of his installation a gal from Lowe's came by to see how everything was going.  Again they seemed to want to please us.  We got another call that evening from Lowe's making sure we didn't have any questions.  Both crews did a good job in protecting the floors, doorways and surroundings in getting everything in and out. 



As for the appliances themselves they are what we selected and so far so good.  We are pleased and hope they continue to work well for a long, long time.
