JEFF GRIMES PAINTING

Called for an estimate and he came the next day. Started to remove the paper on the next Monday and finished painting in two weeks. He is a Carmel Fireman so worked on his days off, actually on vacation.

He was very punctual, professional and responsive. He was very careful and cleaned up after himself. He was cost effective and did a perfect job. I have referred him to all my friends.

Jeff is a nice guy who's full time job is a fireman. We were here painting at the same time he was, we just didn't want to tackle the two story entry way. He paints fast! He finished so quickly he had more time and helped us with the dining room. We had him return a few weeks later to sand down a faux finish in a small bathroom and paint it. He charges by the hour, so the fact he is so efficient works to your advantage. The only small complaint I have is that he uses tape for the trim and ceiling, which I don't feel is as good as those who can do a good job with lines free hand. More than sufficient though!

Jeff did a good job! He works by himself. At the time he did our house, he had a knee injury, but still did our work. It took him about 40 hours to get everything done. He sands down the drywall to prep the walls for painting. Since this was our first time hiring someone to do painting, I wasn't expecting all the dust that was everywhere. However, It was worth having the dust around, because the walls looked much better afterwards. The work wasn't perfect, however, he did fix the issues we pointed out to him. There was some clean-up for us afterwards on our baseboards and trim work. Overall, we are very pleased and we would hire Jeff again to do other painting jobs for us.

Jeff Grimes is a firefighter who paints homes as a second income on his days off from the fire department. He is very professional, and polite. What impressed me the most upon my initial meeting with him was his honesty in quoting me a price for the job. I received estimates from 5 painters. Although Jeff was not necessarily the least expensive among the estimates, he was the most upfront, honest, and down-to-earth of those who quoted the job. I was very satisfied with his work, and his price.
