Searched Angies List for gutter contractors and asked another Angies List contractor whom I trust, and we both agreed on Howards. I called, they promptly came out gave me and estimate which was less than I anticipated. I signed the contract, we set an instillation date. They came before the anticipated date completed the instillation in approx. 1.5 hrs. we were more than satisifed with the completed work. Would recomend them plus use them again if I needed gutter work.

Until this year, I did not realize how poor a job these guys did!

I had to get my gutters replaced this year.  When the NEW crew took down the old gutters, they found a really sloppy, amature job.  The slipshod characteristics of Howard & Sons included anchoring the gutter mounting board to ONLY about 1 in 3 rafters.  I do not have anything good to say for Howard & Sons

Came out and gave me an estimate. Very nice guys. Called with the go ahead and they came by and knocked it out the next day. They were very responsive and my new gutters look great.

Removed and replaced my gutters and downspouts on August of 2006. The original work was good. However, I started calling them about a problem with some sort of paint they used on my gutters back in July of this year. The paint they used on my aluminum 6" gutters and down spouts was fading out. The gutters now look two toned. I called Mr. Howard several times but have had no results from them. He said he doesn't use paint on them anymore because he has several of these that had problems. I think it only fair that Howard and Sons replace my gutters and down spouts at their cost. These should not loose there color for several years. Painting them would only make this my problem for several years to come.

After trying to install vinyl gutters on our own (bought at a local "big box" store), we called Howard and Sons. We described what was needed, they quoted the price over the phone, came out the next business day, and had the job done in about an hour. The gutters look great.

The price was very reasonable (around $3-$4000).

Around August 28th I had Ron Howard quote a tear off and replacement of gutters and soffits. I called Ron on September 28th and gave him the go ahead to do the job. At this time he requested half down (2400.00). I sent a check, which was cashed on October 4th. He said that work would start within 4 weeks of the 28th of September. Well, on November 17th I called him and he was shocked that the job wasn't started, nor completed. He stated that he had subbed the job. Two days before Thanksgiving, Troy starts the work and states it will take two days to complete. It takes 5 days to finish. It was a horrible job !!! I called and complained 3 times. Each time the sub shows up with an excuse why the soffits look rippled, uneven, botched cuts etc. Ron Howard shows up the first week of December to put up gutters. He did a good job on gutters, but when I show him the botched soffits, he dismisses it as I'm not responsible.

MR. HOWARD WAS PROMPT IN RETURNING MY PHONE CALLS AND IN GIVING ME A FAIR AND REASONABLE ESTIMATE, AND THEN IN PERFORMING THE WORK. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN TO DO WORK FOR ME.

FATHER AND SON DO WORK. SUPER JOB!

I WAS LIVING OUT OF STATE AND THEY WERE CALLING ME LONG DISTANCE. THEY DID ESTIMATES BEFORE WE CLOSED AS PART OF THE NEGOTIATION. THE DAY WE CLOSED ON THE HOUSE THEY WERE OUT FIXING IT. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS JUST WONDERFUL!

THEY WERE EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR ME TO FIND A SPECIAL TYPE OF SOFFITT. THEY WERE A VERY GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH.

RON WAS A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. THE GUTTERS WERE INSTALLED QUICKLY AND LOOK WONDERFUL.

VERY SORRY I EVEN CONSIDERED HIRING THEM. AT LEAST THEIR SALES PITCH WAS POLISHED!

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I EVER MET. QUALITY IS MARGINAL. IF YOU HIRE THEM, ... GOOD LUCK!
