Description of Work: Jayne keeps our household running and looking good. She is much more than a housecleaner; when she walks in the door, she does what she sees needs to be done rather than a routine list of included and excluded tasks. So, I always come home to a clean kitchen, laundry done and put away and the house looking neat. My spare bedrooms are cleaned as needed and before and after guests, but not every week (by my request). She also has organized various storage and closets. She’ll get dinner started or the prep work done, or help with entertaining events. She does other projects as needed too and will work on whatever is on my “to do” list. She learned our way of doing things and does things like I would do them; she puts things away in logical places. She is proactive about doing things she sees need done and at the appropriate intervals – e.g. she will occasionally polish the silver tea set or wash the chandelier when the basic stuff is caught up. If she notices a smudge on a door, she’ll take care of it as she walks by. She is always cheerful and pleasant to have around. She is a very efficient, high energy, hard worker and she always has worked the hours that she reports. We’ve had her working in our home for close to a year several times a week and she’s very trustworthy and I’m completely comfortable with her in my home. Whatever we need to have done she makes it happen, whether it’s a houseful of guests or parties or just making the house look good so we can relax. Having Jayne has relieved a lot of stress for us over the last year.
