Took a bit longer to replace toilet since they didn't have the right parts, but that is understandable since plumbing is not their main line of business.

I have had Travis do handyman work at my home for over 3 years. He is entirely trustworthy, reliable and does excellent work. He built a stained shelf for my office and took it back 4 times until he got the coloring right without my ever saying a word to him about it. He has fixed other peoples work. I have referred him to other people and everyone he has done work for is extremely satisfied. I cannot say enough good things about him. They say a good handyman is hard to find. Well, guess what? You have found him.

We have always been very pleased with the work completed by Travis and company, so this is not the first time we have used his service. He arrived right on schedule with another worker. We had two ceiling light fixtures to be installed. While he was here I was going to have him look at a lazy-susan in the kitchen cabinet that was completely jammed and wedged....just to see if he might want to come back and tackle that at another time. He jumped right in to take a look and within a matter of minutes had it completely back in working order!! He made my day!

Travis initially visited our home to learn our preferences and discuss options. Obviously, he is a very good carpenter as he made sure the edge molding on the racks matched other style in the area. We supplied the hooks and he painted everything to match. Installation of everything was great.

I hired someone else. I used to use Handyman by the Hour, this man bought the company. I would not call them again.

"I was not scheduled to do work for for this person. In her review, she listed that I was scheduled on August 7th, and that is false. When she initially contacted me earlier that week, I informed her that I would have to see the job and do an estimate before scheduling any work. I informed her that I would try to call her August 7th if I was able to finish my previously scheduled job early. As it turned out, I was not able to call Friday during business hours, so I called her the following Monday. By this time, she had already hired another company. To be clear, I did not and would not miss a scheduled appointment with a potential customer."

Travis and his crew are fantastic! always, prompt, courteous, within budget, and their workmanship is outstanding. Travis completely transformed our basement bar into a showcase....the fireplace, sound system, stone, and bookshelves are absolutely stunning! Friends visiting our basement are always very complimentary of the end result.

Travis was running late but called to let me know when he would be there. He fixed all our problems and explained what he was doing with each one. He showed me what to do if problems recurred. He was extremely polite and conscientious, completed the tasks quickly and efficiently and did not waste any time.

Travis was very professional and very thorough. One of the fixtures required a lot of work to hang (it was large, the tall ceiling made it awkward, plus the fixture was remote-controlled), but he did a wonderful job and his pricing was very fair, in spite of the job taking longer than expected.

Travis was very polite and professional. He arrived for the quote on time, explained what he would do and emailed me a quote that evening. His quote was accepted. When the doors came in to Lowes he picked the up and brought them with him so we didn't have to worry about delivery. He completed the work as specified in the quote even though he had to make several modifications due to unexpected structural issues. I am planning to to have him back next spring to do some additional work because his workmanship was very good. I would andhave recommend him.

Good, but I thought I would be charged by the hour and not the quote. He finished the work in under an hour but still charged the full quote price of three hours.

"As this job was completed ~1-year ago, memory of job-specific details have been lost with the passage of time. Now, as then, all jobs are invoiced for actual time related to the job which is disclosed on estimates and invoices. The customer promptly paid the invoice and HBTH was not made aware of any customer concerns until notified of this review. Regarding responsiveness, the customer called on 11/15, the estimate was sent on 11/15, the job was completed on 11/15, and the invoice was sent (via email) on 11/15. Payment was received on 11/20. Thank you..."

Travis came out on Saturday morning and was able to add some structural components to the entrance of our crawlspace, as suggested by a structural engineer we had hired. The work was perfect, the price was reasonable, and I couldn't be happier. I have hired other handymen in the past. Travis' skills and integrity far surpass the others. He successfully tackles projects that others say are beyond what they can do. Again, I highly recommend Travis!

Travis arrived promptly and immediately started to work. He estimated 3.5 hours to complete the job and he was done on time. He is a good carpenter and is willing to provide his opinion on whether repairs need to be made or not. His performance, work ethic and honesty are highly regarded.
