Description of Work: I purchased a sofa and love seat combo 4 yrs ago with a 5 year extended warranty. In year 4 the material on the sofa has started comming apart. The warranty company will not cover the problem and Godby has done nothing to help. I will never purchase from Godby again

 + -1 moreDELIVERY WAS MADE IN A TIMELY MANNER, ORDER CAME IN VERY QUICKLY. PROBLEM WAS THAT DELIVERY PERSONNEL DIDN''T LEVEL THE CHEST SO THE DOORS WERE UNEVEN. IT TOOK SEVERAL CALLS AND 2 WEEKS BEFORE THEY COULD SEND A SERVICE TECHNICIAN TO LOOK AT IT. IT WAS A VERY MINOR ADJUSTMENT AND WAS FREE OF CHARGE (DELIVERY CHARGE WAS $50.) SERVICE WAS WAY TO SLOW IN RETURNING CALLS AND THE APPOINTMENT WAS BOOKED SO FAR OUT. TRAINING OF TECHNICIANS IS NECESSARY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING REGARDING RETURN PHONE CALLS IS APPROPRIATE.
Description of Work: PURCHASED BEDROOM CHEST W/DOORS AND HAD DELIVERED.

 + -1 moreTHE SALESWOMAN PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN WE NEEDED HER WITHOUT BEING PUSHY. WE PICKED UP THE RECLINERS OURSELF RATHER THAN HAVE THEM DELIVER IT. THE WAREHOUSE RESPRESENTATIVE HAD OUR MERCHANDISE AVAILABLE AND READY AND WAS VERY COURTEOUS.
