It started off well. He would sometimes miss a days, but he always had personal reasons. It has taken longer than he told us. He took the tile (which were from around 1900) home to clean them. The last time we saw him was Monday. We didn't hear from him on Tuesday or yesterday. I have called him about 5 times to try and get ahold of him. I haven't heard from him today. He set up the gas line, but didn't set up the gas logs. If he can't finish in one day than I would like my tiles abck and to pay him for the work he has completed so far, to get someone else to do the job.

Doug and his assistants are true professionals. They are very knowledgeable about all types of fireplaces, and their stone and tile installation was absolutely beautiful. One hearth stone cracked during installation, but was promptly replaced.

Doug was not able to get the plate completely flush to the wall because of how the gas valve had been installed when the house was built. In checking out our fireplace, Doug noticed that the logs were not in the correct position. He repositioned them so the fireplace would show more of the flame. Doug was very efficient, helpful, and tidy!
