ERNEY'S LOCK & KEY

The door between my garage and house has both a dead bolt lock and a handle lock.  My son was playing with the handle lock before his school bus arrived and locked the handle.  I pulled the door closed while I walked him to the bus.  I discovered that it was locked when I returned to the garage.  I went across the street to a neighbor and we looked up phone numbers for locksmiths.  The first locksmith we called was not available.  My second call was to Ernie's.  They were dealing with another job, but told me they would come as soon as possible.  They arrived about 20 minutes later and had me back in my house in five minutes.  The gentleman was having a bad day, but he apologized to me for not getting to me sooner.

THE OWNER IS A VERY PLEASANT MAN, PROMPT, AND HELPFUL, BUT HIS ACTUAL WORK WAS POOR. BOTH DOORS HAVE CROOKED SCREWS, EXCESSIVE WOOD CUT OUT ON THE DOOR JAMS AND THEY DON'T CLOSE AS WELL AS THEY DID BEFORE HE INSTALLED THE LOCKS. COSMETICALLY, IT WAS A TERRIBLE JOB.
