The quote amount was around $2000. He will be coming out shortly to do the work. He will be replacing any wood that needs to be replaced. He will be power washing the house and he will then do the sanding, caulking, wood replacement, and the painting. He is excellent. He will come out when he can fit me into his schedule and that is okay with me. In the past, he has come out on time and has cleaned up. I will consider using him again.

"THE ESTIMATE THAT I GAVE THE MEMBER WAS NOT FOR JUST EXTERIOR TRIM. THIS BID INCLUDED, POWER WASHING, BLEACHING, AND CAULKING HER HOME AND PAINTING HER ENTIRE HOUSE NOT JUST THIS TRIM. THIS IS A FAIR PRICE FOR WHAT WORK WAS TO BE DONE."

I CALLED ED LESTER AND HE CAME TO MY HOME TO QUOTE DRYWALL MUDDING, SANDING, TEXTURE CEILING, AND INSTALL 2 DOORS IN MY BASEMENT. HE WAS VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. HE QUOTED THE JOB IN 2 DAYS AT $1275. I HIRED A DIFFERENT DRYWALLER THAT WAS $500 LESS.

"THIS WAS A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE FOR WHAT WORK WAS TO BE DONE FOR THE MEMBER. THIS WAS A SITUATION WHERE I WAS COMING INTO A JOB WHICH HAD BEEN PARTIALLY COMPLETED BY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. THE PRICE I GAVE THE CUSTOMER WAS A VERY COMPETITIVE, STANDARD BID FOR WHAT WORK HAD TO BE COMPLETED. IF THIS JOB HAD BEEN QUOTED IN THE SUMMER, MY PRICE WOULD OF BEEN VERY COMPETITIVE TO OTHER ESTIMATES. DURING THE WINTER A LOT OF CONTRACTORS WILL CUT THEIR BIDS TO FILL IN THEIR SCHEDULE."
