Country Painting

The crew was amazing and very detailed as they painted our home's exterior. I would highly recommend this company. Very responsive and price competitive.

Crew of 100% Mexicans which I don’t have a problem with until they play soccer in my backyard when they think I’m not watching. The work was decent for the price. I personally would have preferred a more professional experience and better attitudes of workers but I hear it is hard to find good help nowadays.

They were very patient with us as we selected our exterior paint colors and navigated the HOA approval process. Once we had approvals in place, they started the job within 2 weeks and painted our entire house within 48 hours. The house looks great and it was awesome to have the job completed so quickly as I've seen other homes in our neighborhood take upwards of a week to get done. Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Wouldn't hesitate to use again for future painting needs.

Wow! My house has a lot of detail and 4 different colors as well as some minor stucco repair. Very impressed with the finished product. They did an awesome job!! My house looks brand new! Very interested in making sure I was completely happy. Owen Riley is very customer focused.

Country painting painted my entire house. Workmanship initially looked good but 6 months after the job, when wiping the window trim with a paper towel with Windex, the paint peeled right off. Owen's response is that Windex might be bad for paint and its my problem. Of course by that logic every time windows are cleaned, I would expect to see paint peeling off the trim where the window cleaner touched them but you never see that. Sherwin Williams even recommends to "Remove dirt using a soft bristle brush and detergent solution – working in smooth up-and-down or side-to-side motion. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary." The more likely cause is with the surface prep and primer. The aluminum window frame is glossy and smooth under the paint meaning the painter either (1) didn't rough up the surface for better bond or (2) didn't use an etching primer like Sherwin Williams recommends. Owen was not willing to consider either of those.

We had 4 quotes in all and Country Painting was right in the middle in cost. I felt the family owned feel right away from Mike and he was great to work with. I texted/called/emailed during the process and he responded to my questions or concerns right away. He himself came out and power washed the house a few days before painting. We had brick, trim, wood siding and garage doors painted, along with some repairs. We had one snag with our garage door paint, but it was immediately taken care of. Would definitely hire Mike and his team again!

I hired this company two years ago to paint the exterior of the house, and they did a good job. This time around, the work was average. There are missed spots in a few areas in the bathroom; the area behind the fridge was not painted to my satisfaction; the den has only 1 coat of paint and the underlying color shows through in some areas; there is a dried paint splotch on my light carpet. But the one thing that displeased me was the fact that one of Owen Riley's workers accidentally dropped a heavy ladder and dented my newly finished floors. The dent is deep enough that it cannot be sanded over. Mr. Riley gave me $200 credit for this.

They were very professional. It was important to him that I was satisfied.

They did a fabulous job.  I'd give them all "A's".  I would use them again also.

It went very well. Everyone was here when they said they would be, did a perfect painting job, and paid very close attention to details. They advised us when extras (repair) needed to be done. The price was very reasonable (we obtained 4 estimates) and there were no big surprises at the end.

They did a fantastic job. Several places some wood trim needed to be replaced. They replaced them, they did a great job with everything. They did 2 coats of paint for the same price others were quoting for one quote with the exact same paint. It looks fabulous. They picked up after themselves each night, was careful not to disturb our landscaping. I was so thrilled.

Mike provided an estimate in April and worked with us to schedule the work in June, after the weather has settled down and warmed up. Jack then managed the project and arrived as scheduled. His crew was professional and courteous. They carefully masked areas that were not to be painted and were careful in and around our landscaping. We are very pleased with the quality of their work. Great people to do business with.

Mike Riley was professional, kept in contact throughout the two-day job and was easy to work with. He did a detailed walk through prior to the project to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted painted and ensured we were satisfied at the end of the project. Orlando and the painting crew were very diligent and dedicated to doing a very quality job - from taping and caulking during the prep stage, to final paint and cleanup - and appreciated him being available for our questions during the project. We are glad that we hired Riley Country Painting because of their great customer service and quality of work they performed. Finding good contractors isn't easy and we will definitely call on them again and recommend them to others.

Gave a B rating for Responsiveness and Professionalism because a few windows were not completed until 3 weeks later. I would have appreciated an update on when the windows would be done. I would hire again.

Power washed, with full prep. Great job painting. Full inspection when complete. Paint was included in the cost, though we picked out colors.

I had a really high recommendation for them. Other painters wouldn't do anything about the glazing on the windows. The house was 46 years old. Another company wanted to do the painting but they wouldn't do anything about the glazing on the windows. Country Painting did a wonderful job on the glazing and the painting. The detail work on the house was crisp. It was absolutely wonderful. They were about half of one of the estimates from another painter. Quality was absolutely perfect. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Country Painting was prompt in responding to an estimate request and a possible start date. They started the job when they said they would. They arrived on time and worked throughout the days to get the job completed. Their work was excellent; they paid attention to details and cleaned up the work areas when done. While we removed items from walls and closets, they took down window coverings and replaced them when the job was completed, and assisted us in rehanging some pictures/mirrors.

I found them to be very easy to work with and they did an excellent job on the painting.  Mike kept in contact with me for the scheduling of the job, as you are aware it rains in Indiana.  Once the work commenced they washed the surfaces to be painted, scraped, caulked and nailed where wood needed it.  Then they painted, I live in an HOA so it was important to match the existing color of the house which they did masterfully.  Once the job was complete Mike came out and went over the project and their guarantee with me.  I would not hesitate to use them again when I have more painting to be done.
