This outfit advertises in both ValPac and Reach magazine. “Whole House Special only $249. No Hidden Charges”. I scheduled them and they showed up on time and wanted to tour the area to be cleaned. After the tech pointed out 2 stains that I couldn’t see, I explained we were replacing the carpeting this year and I was just concerned in getting it cleaned. After the tour, he informed me it would be $550 due to the stains that only he could see. Told him to forget it and after negotiating , he came down to $337. As I had cancelled previous plans, I reluctantly agreed (stupid me). He completed the cleaning , was paid, and left. That evening my wife got home, went upstairs to change, and yelled down asking how a mirrored drawer on our dresser got broken? Whomever broke it cleaned up the broken glass to leave no evidence. The tech and myself were the only 2 people in that room that day. Contacted them the next morning via email and they requested pictures which I obtained and forwarded on 4/14. On 4/18 I had not heard back from them and again emailed them. On 4/20 I still had not received a response and again contacted them via email (wanted a “paper” trail). I finally received the following response— “We talked to our technician , he doesn’t remember damaging any of your furniture , if we can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to let us know”. I suggested we provide a lie detector test which I would pay for if he could pass it, but they chose not to accept that option. They did tell me that he was a “good family man”. At this point, I did what I should have done to begin with—checked the BBB and on-line reviews. To sum up the BBB, they have a F rating with a total of 11 complaints. The most common complaint was upcharges. Here is the link: [*** Link removed ***] Angies List has 119 carpet cleaning companies listed by their grade—currently they are 111th. During an email exchange I challenged them on their BBB and Angies List ratings. The owner's response was: "Angie’s list we had over 800 A rated reviews , when we stoped paying them money for advertising they deleted our profile., with BBB we had a similar experience, when we stoped paying them for their BBB certification we had bad reviews showing up from the past ... The carpet was not cleaned thoroughly despite the fact that I paid an extra $100 for deep cleaning. Service technician rushed through the cleaning as if he were double parked and tried to upsell every additional service on the planet. The technician accessed my garage water spigot and somehow managed to create a leak on both spigot and water main valve. I contacted Clean Pro and reported the issue and they were unwilling to come back out and clean and/or provide a partial refund (even though I had 2 properties cleaned by them in the same day and a 3rd the week before), I experienced he same issues with 2 of 3 properties. I will never use this company again
