Overall, the experience was great. They are very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. They do a good job explaining what needs to be done, and followed up well. They completed the work quickly, were professional, and cleaned up very well after the work was done. While they were doing the work, they put up tarps and were careful about making sure to keep the rest of our home clean. They met the timeline that they originally told us, and even had to do extra work but didn't charge us for that extra. They're just nice, respectful, and very professional people to have in our home! We were really impressed with them. They did a great job with the artistry on the molding. It's very good quality and they really seemed to know what to do with our mantle and contsructing it. It's very pretty!

Blue Door helped me out with portions of a remodeling project I had in progress. I was very glad to find a contractor who was willing to take on smallish work like this (other contractors preferred not to take on work this small scale, or a project which they were not leading). They did a fabulous job replacing sections of drywall in several portions of the house, and building a wet wall for the washer/dryer. They also quoted several other smaller projects on my list, and their prices were reasonable. I did receive some lower quotes, but had a little more confidence in Blue Door to achieve the quality of work I expected. When I mentioned I was looking for new gutters and masonry work on the chimney, they quickly connected me with high-quality subcontractors for both. Communication was great and I felt they were very straight with me (and patient!) through the process. There aren't many contractors I can really say that about, frankly. I highly recommend these folks for jobs of any size.

Stephen Stein was the general contractor and he did some of the work himself. He did a good job of managing the crew and overseeing things. He stopped by to check the work done on a regular basis.

They were very fast in providing a quote, and were able to work the various stages of the project into their schedule in a very efficient fashion. They were very flexible with my schedule. Communication via email and phone was excellent. I look forward to using them again in future projects. They were also helpful in identifying contractors for other projects, including new gutters for the house (which they contracted for us), and a mason for some chimney repairs (got the quote but we haven't decided to move forward with that yet).

Everything was great.

Steve was great. He worked with us to come up with solutions that we were happy with and the marble company agreed too. He did extra work for us too. He did an awesome job. He was prompt, flexible, and he kept the work area clean. He did a much better job in preparing the shower for the marble than the original builder did, there was no comparison.

THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND MAINTAINED CONTACT THROUGHOUT THE JOB AND LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.

CLEANED UP AFTER IT WAS COMPLETED. (WORK COMPLETED IN 3-4 DAYS). VERY PROMPT AND IT WAS DONE QUICKLY. THE OWNER CAME BY TO CHECK ON THE WORK AND TO SEE IF I WAS SATISFIED.

I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. THEY DID EVERYTHING IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER INCLUDING RETURNING PHONE CALLS, ESTIMATING, AND GETTING THE JOB DONE. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AS WELL. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM IN THE FUTURE IF I NEED MORE WORK DONE.

THEY WERE AMAZING TO WORK WITH. I MET WITH TWO OF THE GUYS EARLY ONE MORNING AND THE THIRD GUY CAME OUT TO DO THE REPAIRS AN HOUR LATER. THEY WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. I GOT THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY MAINLY HANDLE BIG PROJECTS. THEY DO TAKE SOME OF THE SMALLER ISSUES, LIKE MINE, IF TIME PERMITS. I APPRECIATED THEM BEING ABLE TO FIT ME IN.

WE HAD THEM FINISH OUR BASEMENT - FRAME, DRYWALL, PAINT, ETC. THEY DID GREAT WORK. STEVE AND KEN ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. WE DON'T HESITATE TO GIVE THEM THE HIGHEST RATING. WE WILL CALL THEM FOR ANY FUTURE REMODELING WORK WHICH WE NEED.
