The flowers were scheduled to be delivered to my home on a Saturday. I was not home when they came to deliver. They left a note on my door to call to schedule a redelivery. I did not get home until 4pm, at which time I called immediately. I was placed on hold to listen to a recording about their 24/7 service. When someone finally got on the phone, it was the answering service. She said they were closed and she could leave a message for Monday morning for the flower shop. I asked who the flowers were from and she did not know. So, I was upset at this point because: a. They did not try to call me. If they had called, I could have made arrangements to pick up the flowers or have someone bring them back out prior to 3 when they closed. b. The answering service did not know who they were from so I could at least thank the person even tho I didn't get the delivery. She said she could give them a message and assured me the flowers would be made fresh. So, I left a message with the answering service with my phone # and asked for them to call to schedule redelivery on Wednesday due to my work schedule. So, Monday on my lunch break, I expected to have a message from them. No message. I called the flower shop and explained my situation and she had no record of the message I left with the service. But, she said she would have the flowers redone and delivered on Wednesday between 9:30-10:30. Within 5 minutes of hanging up, she called me back to say the flowers had been redelivered with my neighbor. If they were going to do that, why didn't they do it on Saturday when the flowers were fresh??!! So, now I just got home and got the flowers which were probably quite pretty on Saturday. But, now the little roses are brown on the edges and already beginning to droop over.
Description of Work: I received an arrangement as a gift delivered from family out of state. The cost is only a guess since it was a gift.
