ADRIENE'S FLOWERS & GIFTS

On Wednesday, March 13th 2013 I had an FTD flower arrangement delivered from Adriens. It was what I expected and delivered on time. FTD guarentees an arrangement will continue to look nice for 7 days. On Sunday March 17th, 4 days later,  the roses in the arrangement were wilted. I had tried to contact Adriens on Saturday the 16th but got no answer to my phone call. On Monday the 18th I was out of town and did not have a chance to call. On Tuesday the 19th my wife called and told the person that answered the phone the roses had wilted and the guarentee was not met. The person was not rude but asked why we had waited so long to call in a very unpleasant voice, inferring we were just trying to get a fresh arrangement. Wednesday the 20th Adriens did deliver a new arrangement but it was less than half the size of the orginal and when it was delivered the delivery person just handed the arrangement to my wife with a "HERE". Nothing was ever said about sorry for the inconvience, no explaination that maybe the flowers were old or anything. I have worked as a Florist and this is  not the way to treat customers. I am writing this review and I lodged a complaint to the FTD hotline.

The boutonniere was the correct flower (calla lily) but only had 4 tiny green leaves as accent and was placed in a container that was too small for it, thus folding the top of the flower and damaging it. To be fair we had asked for a simple design- but this was stark. I was able to add some additional foliage to enhance it. I would work with Adrienes again, but be more detailed in my request. I also felt that it was a little pricey for what was included. There isn't much labor in one of these- pretty simple to make.

They did not make any effort to make contact with me, my mother, or the MN florist that hired them to deliver the flowers for my birthday. They just showed up, tried to deliver the flowers, and charge my mom's credit card even though we had cancelled the order the night before (once we figured out they weren't delivered when scheduled). We turned them away when they showed up with the flowers. They made no apology or attempt to reconcile the situation.

THE VASE WAS VERY INFERIOR TO MCNAMERA & WE WILL GO BACK TO THEM FROM NOW ON. AWFUL EXPERIENCE FOR MY ANNIVERSARY FLOWERS.

REQUESTED LONG AND LOW CENTERPIECE FOR DINING ROOM TABLE. PICKED UP SO THERE WAS NO DELIVERY CHARGE. FOR $35, WE RECEIVED AN UGLY RED CONTAINER WITH ABOUT A DOZEN CARNATIONS AND MUMS. MOSTLY GREENERY. WILL NOT USE THIS FLORIST AGAIN. HIGH COST FOR WHAT YOU GET.
