Kim Myrick is a very nice and personable man, and he helped us with another matter so we felt he could be trusted. After several months of a six week job, he knocked off the final installment of 1500 dollars because they didn't finish the job, and so many things in our yard was damaged or destroyed. Our yard was trashed, flower pots broken, plants trampled, solar lighting was destroyed, most of my landscaping looked like a cow pasture. Most of this damage was from them not cleaning up the debris from the roof tear down. After all of this, as of today, 8/7/2012, he still hasn't turned in the paperwork for the work done to our home to our insurance company, even after numerous calls from them and us. Supposedly he was to install a ridge vent on the roof to allow the attic heat to escape, but there are no vents at all up there, one section of the roof, instead of putting in a slant on the flat roof, he used roll roofing which is already buckling just a few weeks after he completed the roof, and with all the storms we've had recently, its even worse. Most of the wiring he did on the porch lights, and outside outlets, either didin't work or shorted out. In a conversation with his crew leader who was doing the wiring, he stated he really didn't know much about wiring and it scared him to even mess with it.. My legally blind husband ended up having to rewire the porch lights and the outside power outlets! Kim has been called well over 2 dozen times, and never shows up when he says he will, IF he answers the phone, which he usually doesn't.. I've been trying to reach him for over 5 months now about the roof, but he's never responded to any of my messages.
