B-Dry System Of SW Indiana

This company is the BEST!!!!! After using another company and had water problems, we decided to call B-Dry. They came out immediately and even tried to steer us to use the warranty of the other company. No way! This company had it fixed and did it right the first time. I hope I don't need them again for another wall but if I have any water, I will only use B-Dry!!!

I met the bdry guys on the first day as they began removing concrete; seemed everything was going to go as expected. Little did I expect to find the finish as I did several days later.
I came home to mess and poorly finished work.
The entrance and work path used was gray in dust and dirt. Dirt on the walls and ceiling; anywhere reachable in the path. Concrete finish was very rough, not level, and very uneven.
The exterior drainage was not as expected, perf corrugated pipe. That alone wasnt bad, however the new sump line was put into a rough cut square hole in the plastic and then backfilled with dirt. Not to mention distance of drain lines were not to drawing agreement.
I immediately contacted John when I got home seeing all this, he came over and wroteup all of my issues. The next friday they sent someone to "repair". I was told the drain was only as long as the measurement because the measurement was wrong. The concrete was what they always did; they dont use leveling concrete or make it any better than what I got. And the worst solution was ducktape on the exterior corrugate with sump line in a rough square hole..... "this is what we always do"
I told him this was completely unacceptable. He said the salesman would need to come out the next week to work it out with me.
I talked with John who offered again to have the guys comeout and fix it. I told him they were not qualified after my last experience and I would fix it myself and the costs would be deducted from final payment.
Oh, almost forgot. They wanted final payment of the day work was completed WITHOUT me being home to see it. I couldnt agree to paying infull before inspection; that's just not right. A portion of payment was withheld.
Joe then called me, he wanted to understand my concerns. I had an almost hour long call with him. My job was "the perfect storm" and very unusual for them. I offered that he should come inspect if he didnt believe me. I told him I was documenting the complaints with pictures and would be deducting my repair work from the remaining balance. He told me John was not authorized to tell me that I could. .... Well thats what I was going to do and did.
I made the drain repairs myself and wrote a 10pg itemized letter with pictures and detailed costs. Bdrys response was only to offer a portition of the requested adjustment as "cleaning" saying other than that I got what I paid for. .....poor sales explaination of options
This was not what I expected at all. Attempts to repair were incompetent "duck tape" solution.
I contacted BDry Corporate franchising and filled the same complaint with the BBB. On the last day of the responce timeframe for BBB, Bdry agreed to my original written responce.
I really wish it was easier than this to resolve. No one that has seen the work in person or my pictures shared finds this acceptable.
Buyer beware, you will need to detail everything,.. over the top detail. Then stay home and supervise to makesure you get what you expect.

Overall, a great experience with a great company.

The overall experience was good . I haven't tested the system yet to see if it works. It took much longer to do the work than originally expected, which was a surprise to them. The salesman told me there was not going to be much dust, and there was a lot of dust. The salesman didn't make it clear what I really should prepare for. The workers were fantastic and accommodating. They tarped off the areas that I didn't want dust in. They were very accommodating with the jackhammer when we asked them to use it while we were at lunch. The job looks fantastic. They always answered my phone calls. They did not charge more, even though they lost a whole day because of having to do extra work. They were very good at letting me know what was happening, or if I had to be aware of something. The only complaint I have is that the salesman didn't let me know what to prepare for, other than that, everything was fine. They did a lot of extra work and deserve an A.
