subsequent weekly cleaning in 3 houses. I paid in total $648 for the 3 "cleanings".
We will refer to house #1 #2 #3.
After the 1st cleaning "deep cleaning" the following was noted in all 3
houses: dust on the door frames, air vents and picture frames and vacuuming
only in traffic areas. In house #3 dust on hardwood floors under furniture. In
house #1 debris were noted on the carpet in the master bedroom at the head of
the bed. Since this was the 1st time and being unclear as to what the
definition of "deep cleaning" is to Floors Doors and More Cleaning
Co. I did not complain. I expected this would be remedied at the next cleaning.
At the 2nd "cleaning", the following was noted in all 3 houses: dust on
the door frames, air vents and picture frames and vacuuming only in traffic
areas. In house #3 dust on hardwood floors under furniture. In house #1 debris
were noted on the carpet in the master bedroom at the head of the bed. I
contacted the Co. to discontinue future service. Subsequently, I was contacted
by the Co. with questions as to why I quit their service. I explained that the
cleaning was not to my satisfaction and specifically the dust situation. In
brief, I heard a lot of excuses and how I did not complain previously etc…
The Co. requested an opportunity to make this right. Reluctantly I agreed.
At the 3rd “cleaning” the following was noted in
all 3 houses: dust on air vents and some of the picture frames and vacuuming
only in traffic areas. Additionally in house #3 dust on hardwood floors under
furniture. In house #1 debris were noted on the carpet in the master bedroom at the head of the bed and in the family
room around the sectional sofa (1 year old visited over the weekend). In house
#2 the owner literally had family dogs soil the carpet in the baby’s room due
to the cleaning staff releasing them from their holding area (which is in the
kitchen closed off by gate and door). Understandably, the owner did not expect
the Co. to clean up biological debris in the holding area however, the owner
did not expect the dogs be released from their holding area. Owner realizes
that dogs get stressed when the Co. crew enter the house and expects accidents
in the holding area but, did not expect this in other areas of the house.
I contacted the Co. today, 16-May-2014 to stop
future “service” and specifically why. I spoke with “Brandy” who denied any of
my claims that the 3 houses were not cleaned appropriately. Brandy also added
that the owner of house #2 was lying about what happened with the family dogs.
LYING. I ended the conversation.
