They did a great job. Our previous floors in these areas were uneven. Rick's guys evened out the floors and did a wonderful job of installing and cleaning up. Very professional and great to work with.

Rick and his crew were exceptional throughout the entire process. We wanted the plan the install while we were away and Rick worked us into his schedule. we paid to have them move the furniture which they did without any incident. Although it was a big job they completed it within the agreed tome. When we returned and walked in the house, it was like we never left. Except for the new beautiful floor everything was in its exact place, the spaces had been throughly cleaned and we have a gorgeous updated home!

Great! They were polite and worked with my schedule. The few little dings to the wall that happened were repaired and they kept in contact and let me know of any changes. Owner was wonderful and I love his dog!!

Rick and team were very responsive to our questions, and had significantly lower prices than some of their competitors. We did have to wait several months to get the project started, due to limited availability with their schedule. The hardwood floor installer, Dan, was an extremely hard and fast worker. We had experience with another company before, and compared to them, the team with Rick Short Flooring was a lot more efficient.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Rick was very prompt in returning my call and came out to the house to measure and work on an estimate prior to installation. Based on the price quotes we received from other installers, Rick's pricing was very reasonable. Once we settled on the product that we wanted to use he ordered the flooring and got us scheduled. They were even able to start on our install a day earlier than they had originally planned which was very nice. 
The guys who installed our flooring were very courteous and did their best to minimize the amount of dust which is not an easy job when tearing out all the old flooring and installing new flooring. Not only did they do a great job but they were also able to finish the job a day early. In total, the installation took 4 days. Once they were finished they reinstalled the shoe trim throughout the main floor and cleaned up any dust that still remained. I am thrilled to death with the outcome and would highly recommend Rick and his team to anyone. We will definitely use Rick Short Flooring for our carpet replacement on the second level of our home next year.

Professional, prompt, reasonably priced. Work was completed on time. Workmanship was excellent. Rick and his entire crew were great to work with, along with being very personable. Definitely will use him again.

Very satisfied with this work.  Good carpet/flooring  selection.  After color choice, another similar carpet of better quality at similar cost was suggested (with which we agreed). Removed all old carpet and installed new pad and carpet quickly.  Vinyl flooring in utility room looks great with good attention to detail around furnace/water heater.  Rick came out at end of job and inspected/vacuumed rooms.  Great Job!

The gentlemen that did the work did it quickly and even had to work on Saturday to finish a couple of areas.  That was no problem and that only helped our contractor finish before our end date.  The guys that did the work were very polite and worked quickly with a lot of expertise.  They suggested alternatives and they all worked out well.  Mr. Short's company had done work for us before and we couldn't be happier with the results and him.  He knows his floors and is easy to work with.

We were highly satisfied with Rick Short and his crew. They were professional, knowledgeable, and hard working.  I was very happy with the end result.  I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Rick and his team are great to work with.  When the installation began, we noted an issue with the quality of the wood.  Rick dropped what he was doing and was at our house within 15 minutes.  He immediately contacted the manufacturer to discuss the problem.  We had replacement material at the house within a day or two.  The rest of the installation was perfect.  He even took a sample of the existing baseboard and to have the stain for the new shoe mould carefully matched to the existing baseboards.

This is the third time we have had him work on our floors. The first hardwood installation in 2005 included our kitchen, living and dining room, entry and hallways.  The floors still look like brand new.  Phase 2 in 2010 included two bedrooms.  This last round finished up all remaining floors that we intended to have hardwoods.  Since we don't have any issues with the quality of all of the work, I won't need his installation services in the future.  But I have every confidence that if we have any issues with the floor and repair or refinishing is required, Rick and his team will be there for us.

They were good to deal with.

We were replacing worn vinyl in our kitchen and entryway.   It is a large area, and the job  took parts of two days.  The workers did a wonderful job, and we are so pleased with the results.   Working with this company was a dream.  They showed up on time, did great work, cleaned everything up, and  moved the appliances for us.  Rick Short stopped by both days to check on the progress, and to ask us if there was anything more they could do for us.  If we replace any other flooring in our house, we will definitely use Rick Short Flooring again.  Cheryl in the office was also a great help when we were choosing the floor material.  I would probably have chosen a much darker floor, but because my kitchen does not get much light, she recommended we use a lighter shade.   She was absolutely correct!!  The floor we installed is perfect.

Our basement flooded, ruined the carpet. We removed old carpet and cleaned floor. We went to Rick's office (he was out). Talked to office personal which let us take home several samples and made appointment for salesperson to come to our home. Rick came just as scheduled with more samples and helped us make our decision on which carpet to install. Workmen showed up on time did a great job and left quietly, several days later Rick stopped by to see if everything went well. Which it did

They do very good and pretty work. They are awfully good. We have recommended them to others because of their quality of work. They were also very reasonably priced.
