ARMSTRONG GARAGE DOORS

After not getting a return call at first when I tried to schedule an appointment, they were very helpful. When I followed up friday morning to check on an appointment they said someone would be there within the hour - which was fantastic. The garage door had some damage to the lower panel and had come off the tracks and was lopsided. They got the garage door working again in no time and had me a quote for replacing the lower panel about 30 minutes after the technician left. It was a fantastic experience despite the hiccup at the beginning. I have already scheduled them to come out and replace the lower panel.

We were in dire need of a new garage door and had looked into a few different companies. Armstrong was the most responsive to our request, competitively priced, and offered many options. We got exactly what we wanted and it was installed today. The technicians were very professional, friendly, and neat. The door looks fantastic and works like a charm! I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The guy who performed the installation did a great job.
  However, the reason for my lower score is due to the lady that I had to deal with on the phone - Mrs. Armstrong. She was not very customer friendly, almost to point of being rude when I tried to negotiate on the price. Then she lied to me about the reason she couldn’t negotiate on the price. She said she was paying O.T and Holiday rates for the guys working. I had scheduled my installation for Monday during normal working hours – not a Holiday weekend.  Unfortunately, I will be looking elsewhere going forward for someone who appreciates me as a customer because we do have choices.    

The rep. came out to do a repair on the springs and did so.  The door
had been working well but would need replaced in a year or two.  The
rep. I believe, to create a door replacement job gave some real hard
jerks on the main support and then began violently bouncing the door
back and forth in a 3-4 ft distance using the motor itself to make it
change directions rapidly.  It was obviously a great stress on the door.  Immediately after that the door would not
work with the motor and I was told I needed to buy a new door.  For a
few months I had to lower and raise the door manually after his visit. 
I would not reward that behavior and used overhead doors of Indpls and
they did a great job.

I called several garage door companies listed on Angie's list and several said it would be late evening or next day (when I called at 9am) to get a service man out.  Armstrong came an hour after I called them and fixed it.  I was excited to have prompt service and great service. Will recommend to friends.

Brad was awesome! I called him to schedule an appointment, and he came out exactly on time. He looked at my garage door, knew exactly the issue,and fixed it promptly, and with professionalism! He's a very nice person to talk to, and doesn't make you feel like he's in a rush or makes you feel rushed. He also noticed an issue with my rollers, but knew it wasn't an immediate necessity to fix, so he let me make my own decision without any sales pressure whatsoever. I am now in the process of getting the rest of my door fixed, and I WILL be calling him back! I would absolutely recommend Armstrong Garage Doors to anyone with ANY issue with their garage door.

Needed repairs to garage door. Door wouldn't even raise to get vehicles out. We needed help at about 7:30am. The competitors we called told us their techs could get here late in day or the following day. Armstrong Garage Doors came out within an hour and everything is still working great, and this was over a year ago. Great job, would hire again without doubt.

They arrived on time and did quality work

I closed on a house one morning, called to make an appointment to have a new garage door opener installed. I was told it would be a couple of days and an appointment was made. Later that day they called and said they would be in the area in a couple of hours and would I like to have it done that day. I was thrilled. When Brad showed up he was professional and quick with his work. He was very friendly and did a great job. I have used Armstong doors before becoming an Angie's list member. The couple if times I had used them previously, I decided I would not use anyone else. Consistently good service,reasonable prices, quick quality service. Very pleased with their work.

The work was done well.  The price was reasonable.  I would highly recommend this company.

The spring on the garge door broke last night after I arrived home from work, I called Brad Armstrong of Armstrong Garage Doors and he called back with in 45 minutes and was out first thing in the morning to replace the spring.  I have used them before and as always, they are prompt, reliable, resonable, and truly professional.  I will always use them and refer them to anyone commerical or private.

Quote was quick, professional, and friendly.  The work was scheduled promptly and performed as requested.  Armstrong was able to provide an economical alternative to a specific maintenance need for our garage doors and meet the needed timeframe.  Very happy with both the person who came out to evaluate and quote the job and the technician who performed the work.  He even fixed one additional need (with my approval) for the cost of the material with no add'l labor charge.  Would/will use again.

Super price. Super product. Super service. What more can I say?

Met them at the Home show last year and ordered a garage door.  They showed up on time and the installation went very smoothly.  The door itself was a very good quality door and much better than the door it replaced.  Only snag was they mispriced the extra windows on the door, but honestly they were more than fair on the resolution.  I would definitely recommend using these guys if you need a new door.

Previous to hiring Armstrong, I had called a few companies listed on Angie's List to obtain pricing.  Also, I talked to one other company at the Home Show.  I picked this company because it is a family owned business and the price was reasonable.  Also, they did not try to oversell me with features I didn't want or need. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

After pressing the garage door remote one afternoon, the door only raised a few inches and then stopped.  Pressing the button again lowered the door.  Repeating the process multiple times yielded the same results.  After going into the garage through the house, I cleaned the sensors that stop the garage door if something gets in the way during operation.  The garage door did the same thing when I tried to open it again.  After looking at the system for a minute, I noticed that there were 2 coils that run above the door.  One of the coils was in one piece, the other in 2 pieces.  That was likely the problem.
I called Armstrong Garage Door after seeing multiple ads for the company.  The lady who answered the phone was unbelievably helpful and extremely knowledgeable.  She diagnosed the problem in seconds, gave me a rough estimate and told me that Brad (the owner) would call me back.  Brad called back within the hour to set up an appointment.  He asked when I would be available and I told him not until after 5pm on most days but that my wife would be home all day the next day.  He offered to come out after 5 but I told him the next day was fine.  He gave me a 1 hour window and said he would call my wife's number that I gave him if there were any issues.
The next day my wife called me at work to say that the garage door was fixed and that the service technician was a real pro.
I'm probably getting cynical as I get older but I find it hard to find service calls that go without incident anymore.  This one, however, went flawlessly.  The service was quick and reasonable and the people who work for Armstrong Garage Doors are perfect to work with.  I will definitely use them again for any garage door and/or opener needs.

We just bought a new house and the garage door did not work.  I called Armstrong to schedule an estimate and they were able to come right out.  The springs needed replaced and one side of the track was bent.  Brett told us what needed done and what it would cost and had it fixed in no time.  I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again!!

He was very professional and efficient, and explained what happened to the spring.  I will definitely call them again for future repairs.
