We cannot say enough good things about Andrew and Breon with Kentuckiana Moving! From start to finish, they completely exceeded our expectations. Before finding them, we got a quote from All My Sons Moving for around $2,500, and they even told us there were certain items they couldn’t move. Kentuckiana came in at a fraction of the cost and didn’t just move some of our items—they moved EVERYTHING we needed, and they did it with speed and precision. What really blew us away was their efficiency: they had the entire move done in just 4 hours. Other companies told us to expect 8+ hours for the same job. On top of that, the crew was professional, polite, and treated our belongings with the utmost care—nothing was scratched, damaged, or rushed. If you’re debating between a big-name company and Kentuckiana Moving, do yourself a favor and go local. Andrew and Breon outperformed the big companies in every way: price, professionalism, speed, and care. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will 100% use them again in the future.

Military Servicemembers and Veterans Beware! Kentuckiana Moving LLC claim to do a lot of military moves but do not function or govern themselves the way military movers do. It was nice not have to inventory each individual item but they do not move expeditiously and strategically to maximize efforts and time. I met Justin a few days prior to the preferred date to move my HHGs from a local storage unit to a residence 4.7 miles up the road. I had about 13000 lbs worth of furniture and agreed to pay for a fourth person and an additional truck to help the process move more efficiently at a rate of $240/hr and $100 per truck. Although the moving crew were friendly and respectful, they were late upon arrival, took an hour lunch, and several extended breaks in excess of five minutes to fold up moving blankets or chat amongst each other. When one crewmember went on break, they all went on break so the day got unnecessarily longer. When all the furniture was moved into the house, my beds, desks, recliner, and table, were left unassembled. Although all the boxes were labeled, heavy items were placed on top of fragile item, and like items were not grouped together as requested. Justin informed me that whatever I needed the movers to do, they will do but showed up with any tools to put anything together. I do appreciate them for putting the bed frame up so I didn’t have to sleep on the floor. When it was time to pay, the military discount was not reflected on the contract and I was charged for materials we didn’t use or need to facilitate the move. The contractual agreement was not shared until the crew arrived that includes different verbiage than the information on included on the initial quote. The crewmember sped through the contract on his mobile device which was difficult to read and stated the verbiage was the same as indicated in the quote which was not the case. I didn’t have the ability to pick my valuation as that was selected by the crew regarding damage coverage. Basic Value Protection is based on $.60/ per lb/ article whereas as the “Actual Value Damage Coverage with $250 dedutible” is based on $5.00/ per lb/ article. There is a clause in the contract that is not beneficial for military servicemembers and was not disclosed prior to signing knowing the DoD handled your HHGs prior to Kentuckiana Moving LLC. The disclaimer reads: PLEASE NOTE BEFORE SIGNING: Due to their fragile nature we do not cover damage to electronics, refrigerators, appliances, glass, ceramics, particleboard furniture, flooring, or plants. We are not liable for the contents of containers not packed by our movers. We are not liable for any damage resulting from improper preparation/packing by customer. We do not dismantle refrigerators in any way. Please double check appliance connections, as we are not responsible for resulting damage including water leaks. In some cases tracking soil onto flooring is inevitable, we are not responsible for any damage. Our liability on loading jobs ( no transportation of goods are performed by Kentuckiana Moving, LLC) terminates once the truck has been loaded. This contract is legally binding and you signature is evidence that you understand and accept the terms outlined by the agreement.” I was unaware of the debit/ credit card surcharge of 4% until it was time to settle the bill. Even though I paid via Zelle, I didn’t receive a payment confirmation or final invoice showing the service was paid in full. I called the office the following day to have the bill adjusted and request a paid invoice but was unable to reach anyone on the phone. After calling several times without success, I physically went to the office to talk with Justin about my moving experience. After he assured me he would process the refund on the credit card used to pay my initial deposit, more than two weeks have elapsed and I haven’t received the refund or receipt. I shouldn’t have to wait to receive my refund on my credit card when I paid with cash. Although Kentuckiana Moving LLC claim to be a veteran-owned business, I cannot recommend their moving services to other military servicemembers or veterans.

The move into an 1886 3hree story Victorian house was not without it's challenges. Tim P and Shamondre S. did a fantastic job. On time, worked hard, and were easy to work with.

Move went great. Curtis and De’Eric performed quality work quickly. Appreciate the work that was done- saved me a lot of time and effort.

My husband and I are doing a cross-state move. I called five different moving companies to hunt for the best deal. Jonathan Richards (owner) was able to offer the most competitive rate and had the highest level customer service on the phone compared to other competitors. Being in retail, customer service and professionalism is a deal breaker for me. Jonathan is the biggest reason I ended up reserving with Ketuckiana Moving. Kentuckiana Moving is a deceitful company who will gaslight you when attempting to bring closure to legitimate complaints. The following is a snippet of my experience with this company: On 12/26/2024, I received an email from Kentuckiana Moving LLC, from email address [email protected] stating, “Good Morning! Have you received your reimbursement check yet? Please let me know so I can make sure to get it handled before the end of the year. Thank you so much!” I responded that I had not received their reimbursement check. On January 3, 2025, I sent an email [email protected] requesting the status of my “reimbursement check”. I received no response. On January 6, 2025, I called Kentuckiana and asked to speak with the claims department. I was told they did not have a claims department. When questioned about the email I received from the “claims department” I was told that the owner was the claims department. On January 7, 2025, I called and requested to speak with *******, the gentleman in charge of my October 2024 move from Louisville, KY to Wichita, KS. I was informed that ****** was no longer employed by the company. I requested the telephone number of the owner and was told he was out of town and my message would be relayed to him. I again requested the owner’s telephone number and was told they do not give out his number, but my message would be relayed to him, or I could send him an email. I questioned when the owner would be back ****** stated, “ … he would have been back by now but he was delayed due to severe weather. Again, I was assured the owner would contact me upon his return. I asked ****** if Kentuckiana Moving had any intention of paying for the damages caused by their movers and if they have no intention, then they need to let me know. On January 10, 2025, I received an email from Kentuckiana Moving stating, “Check was mailed about two weeks ago. Let me know if there’s an issue so I can get this taken care of by the end of next week.” My response to this text, “You have known since December 26, 2024, that I had not received a check from Kentuckiana Moving. You are again, are gaslighting me. Please explain to me why I should have to wait until the end of next week when there is no reason for you to delay getting my check in the mail by Monday January 13, 2025. Please confirm with me, when the check is in the mail.

I had the best experience with Kentuckiana movers. Dakota, Marcus and Caleb were excellent. Strong guys, very positive attitudes and they made it happen. Very respectful of my new carpet and quick to reconstruct my furniture and place it where I wanted it. Would use again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Did about $2k of damage to my driveway and furniture. Would not respond to requests to file damage claims. Workers smelled of marijuana and were just very creepy in general. It's probably not good for business to have your workers talk about their criminal records with the customers.

The 3 young men that moved me today were excellent!! They worked as a team, very respectful and efficient. My son used them a few years ago and recommended them and I’m glad I chose them!! I will need more help in the future and will definitely call them again!! Donna W.

I have never used a moving company before. After meeting Ro and Shawn my movers changed my mind to where I will definitely use Kentuckiana Moving Company again. Ro and Shawn moved me on New Year's Eve. They was on time, fast respectful and so kind. They made sure all my belongings was put together just the way I wanted them. I have them a 1 out of 5 stars because the customer service and my experience was horrible. I gifted them a washing machine and dryer that both work to profit off and was denied the few items left in the washing machine. That along with under the breath comments during the move, and being harrassed about my review lost them a returned customer. Not only did Tony send me a 3 page text about how I was in a domestic abuse situation and running from a guy (which I never said to him because it's made up by him) but the owner Jonathan tried to bribe me into deleting my review fron Google by offering me a partial refund of $1000. I didnt know that that was the real reason I was partially refunded until I got yet another text from the company (Jonathan) at 11:47pm saying "I see the review is back up. I thought their was an understanding that it would be deleted". Find a less sketchy business, one that wont steal from u or lie about their practices.

they did a very poor service, they robbed me. They messed it up and damaged the furniture. I won't recommend them to anyone.

A pleasure to work with this incredible team! Our movers (TJ, Pace, Thomas, Chris, and Jeremy) came to our IN residence and packed up everything with upmost care and concern. All items were carefully wrapped and padded. My 110th Anniversary HD Softtail was loaded with love and professionally wrapped and strapped safely. My beauty arrived just as gorgeous as she was when she left for her adventure! My 2 luxury automobiles were placed on flatbed trailers behind each moving van. Each car was secured and transported with compassion; Jeremy told me upon arrival to AZ ‘And you were worried….told ya we got dis’. He was SO right! The team of Jeremy and Chris were the lucky ones to drive all the way to Rio Verde, AZ. They unpacked quickly and effectively with a local duo (Carlos and Juan) with great care and extreme carefulness; each box was placed into the room of my choice. A cross-country relocation is stressful enough…..allow this stellar company to assist you in your move; they know how to get ‘er done ✅ Our sales associate (Tyler) contacted us regularly to reassure us during the process as we encountered just ‘a few snafus’ during our travel West. Management with this company is spread thin; as with any small business, it’s a major struggle right now to survive. It went very well. Ray and Jeremy did an excellent job. It was late in the day and they had already completed a full move previously. They very efficiently unloaded everything for us in the same amount of time three guys had loaded the truck in California. Jonathan was very accommodating in working with us, especially considering an uncertain schedule for the truck to be delivered (separate company), and with rain coming in. Great work and much appreciated.

John, was very professional and the other two gentlemen were as well. They were fun to work with and made sure everything was moved in a timely manner. Kentuckiana Movers are the Least Expensive company u could find. If recommend this company to Everyone!!!
