His workers installed a 40 ft. trench on one side of my basement by cutting through the concrete floor, breaking out the concrete, digging into the underlying gravel and installing a plastic farm field drain tile, then replacing a gravel cover and pouring a concrete seal overlay which took two days to complete. He then had the previous contractor connect the two systems together. The subsequent radon tests revealed little change in the high radon levels in my home. When Mr. Cantor was questioned about what he would do to further reduce the radon levels in my home, he said he had done his work and needed to be paid for his work. After several weeks of attempting to get Mr. Cantor to live up to his claim of never failing to adequately remediate radon levels in a home, he threatened to place a mechanics lien on the property unless he was immediately paid the $4,800.00. He was paid the $4,800.00 and would not even discuss any additional work to fix the radon level in my home. Additionally, the water that was used for the concrete saw stained the carpeting in my basement and the carpeting on the basement stairs was soiled beyond repair from the workers carrying in and out the concrete and gravel excavated and replaced. Consequently, I cannot give a recommendation other than Lousy for my experience with Houser Cantor's work.

We were happy with the process from the first meeting. We appreciated the time he took with us to explain everything. His crew was timely and cleaned up after themselves. The work was completed on time and we were pleased with the results. We found his price to be similar or cheaper than most quotes and his certifications to be up to date. We would recommend working with him.
