They built the addition on time and to bid. The other thing about it is I wanted the house to look that it had been built at one time. So, they had to use the same materials, windows, roofing, and gutters. They had do everything the same way. They had to do it in such a way that there was no seam so that the new wall had to line up with the old wall. They ripped the siding back to the next corner so when they sided over it there was no place where it was obvious that this got glued on. So, they had to build it so that it did not look like it was built like a separate piece. I wanted it to look not like an addition; I wanted to look like it was built all at once. They did that, and it is gorgeous. People are just flabbergasted because it fits the gustuv of the house which is an arts and craft house. They manage to carry all the same quality, and all the same finishes, match the floor finish, match all the woodwork, and do everything so that you cannot tell that it was not built all at once. They also went back to the house and repaired everything in the house. They repaired fifteen years of wear and tear to bring it up otherwise you would see the difference that way. I think the guy is the best builder in Southern Indiana. The level of quality is just unbelievable. People say that when you get a builder, the guy gets his money, and they will not show up. They showed up every single day for four months. When the concrete was curing, they showed up and worked on something else until they could get over there and work on that. They showed up every single day at 8 o’ clock in the morning until 4 p.m., the entire crew until they finished it on time. They did not have any blaring radio because they knew we were living in the house. They even brought in porta-potty for themselves so that they would not be in and out of the living portion of the house that we were in. They left us alone while they were building the addition. They are not going to be the cheapest people around, but then again you only get what you paid for. I had recommended them to other people.
