Munster Marathon

I went to marathon for a few years for my oil changes. I had a new car with light interior upholstery. When I got my car back there were light streaks of (oil?) all over the steering wheel, the ceiling where a head would brush up against it, the arm rest in the center, the door arm rest, the seat, and the passenger seat next to the center arm rest where the elbow brushed up against it. We went inside to tell the manager and all he did was send out the mechanic who disagreed with us saying it was there beforehand. Then we argued and the mechanic comes back with a greasy brush to scrub it out. We told him not to. The manager was very vocal, and we did not appreciate the lack of sentiment. I explained that I didn't want them to clean it, but I just wanted them to know it was there in case it didn't come out. The manager said that if we use the right stuff it will come out. The price is right but I am fearful of my car getting dirty again so I haven't gone back. I don't like that we have to make appointments. The other places I go now are ready when you drive up.

It felt like I was waiting for quite a bit but it seems that my rim was dented so there was a bit of trouble when working on one of the tires. I'd say overall they did a good job.

A great station that has been a Munster staple for many, many years. Brought in a family member's car to get a tire fixed/patched,. Service was prompt, professional and of high quality.

THEIR STAFF IS COURTEOUS AND WAITING AREA IS TINY, WE HAD TO STAND FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I HEARD THEY WERE GOOD, BUT THE ESTIMATE WAS RIDICULOUS.

I always ahve my tires fixed here. They are fast, courteous, and always do a great job at a fair price. I don't live nearby, but I always gas up when in the area. I like to support good businesses that are locally owned.

Munster Marathon diagnosed a "no start" on my vehicle which was towed in the night before. The following day their diagnoses was to replace the starter. The starter was replaced on the same day and all is well. They called me prior to doing the repair and gave me an option of an OEM part or aftermarket so I can save some money on parts. I thought that was a considerate thing to do. I also like that I can pick up my car later in the evening as it works better with my work schedule.

I remember at the time they had late hours, they had their hours posted. I don't know how much knowledge you need to repair a tire but they did.

I've been using Munster Marathon for many years. They just do a great job. Their workmanship is great. As far as just the grease and filter type stuff I get it done with all my vehicles from them. They are way cheaper than anybody else. I would continue to use them in the future.
