EIM Power Light Communications

I renovated my basement and hired EIM to do the electrical work. Eddie of EIM is by far the most knowledgeable and professional contractor I have ever met and also an all around nice, friendly guy. Eddie went absolutely above and beyond my expectations. He is extremely technically competent, which through friendly discussion, I learned was from his life-long experience as a trained electrician and multiple areas of the electrical industry Eddie has worked in. His attention to detail is outstanding. Everything Eddie did was perfect, and I do not say this lightly. All outlets, switches, dimmers, can light fixtures, etc. are perfectly square and aligned. I mean down to the very screws on wall plates...perfect. Everything was lined up. Even stuff eventually covered by drywall was perfect, like electrical boxes, conduit runs/bends, etc. It was like a work of art. I am detail oriented myself and was thrilled to see Eddie both do the work and see the excellent results. Eddie also went out of his wat to fix various things he identified as incorrect or not previously done right by the previous owner, simply because it was the right thing to do. He is also prompt, shows up on time, and has excellent communication skills. On a slightly separate note, Eddie has an incredible way of visualizing the project and sharing his ideas. I incorporated several of Eddie's ideas into my basement floorplan, which turned out great. On top of all of this, EIM's quote was very fair, especially when compared to other quotes, and, now seeing the type of quality work EIM provides. I absolutely recommend EIM to do the work and would use EIM again in a heartbeat. Hire EIM, you will not be disappointed. (apologies for the pics, I am no photographer).

I wish I could give this place a higher rating, the electrician that was sent out was beyond exceptional. We hired him originally to upgrade a few outlets and minor re-wiring (re-locations). We were more than happy to find that this electrician is one of the most conscientious, detail-orientated, and customer friendly contractors that we have ever had in our home. Did I mention his work is exceptional! While he was here he noticed that the wet bar needed separate circuits for the microwave (we literally just hired a local electrician that was suppose to be "great"). Also finding that the circuit breaker installed was the wrong size, and then further noting that whoever installed the canned lights and old outlets used the wrong wires. Futhermore, we have had work done by The W***Shop, who are very reputable and routinely known for their quality and professional work. The EIM electrician clearly pointed out that The W***Shop did not add enough circuits to our COSTLY kitchen remodel, which explained why our refrigerator motherboard was burning out, and our lights would dim when using our blender. Guess what?.... he fixed it!

Prompt service. Reasonable price and professional.Our home is pretty outdated. Not only did he complete the work but was creative enough to build a bathroom exhaust fan that was relatively hard to find due to age of home! Very impressive. Will use or recommend in the future if necessary.

Would totally hire Eddie again! He was able to fit us in the same day that we called and was on time!

Found company online, closest listed and contacted. Owner came immediately, 6pm on a Thursday night, he trouble shooted problem as broken circuit to complete connection. He checked every relevant switch, plug, splice and fixture between Thursday night and Friday morning (he left about 8:30 Thursday night) By noon Friday, the room was "live". Cable was restored, along with Internet, WiFi and telephone. Other electricians we called prior to contacting EIM had their "gouge" on before they came and talked money as first priority. EIM was concerned with our problem, our inconvenience and helping us. When it was time to discuss compensation, he was fair, no "head trips", honest and a "stand up guy".. Great job and we highly recommend!

Edgar, owner of the company was one of the only servicemen to not only show up to our home on time but he was also ready to work from the moment he entered our home. My husband and I are selling our home and found out that several items were wrong with the electrical. Many of these items were also dangerous. I sent Edgar the report beforehand, so he knew the scope of the work. He came with every tool as well as all new items already purchased. He even shopped around the local hardware stores to get me the best deal on closet light fixtures. I saw that he saved me over $65 by going to three different stores. He didn't need to do that. Just like his punctuality, Edgar did the requested job in the allotted time and for the quoted price. How many servicemen can you say that about? I went with EIM because they are licensed with union certification. I have gone with non-union electricians before and the have been burned with bad work and unprofessional. In fact, that is why our three-way switches did not work properly! After Edgar began the job, I quickly realized that the job was bigger than both he or I expected. We have a seventy year-old home and nothing goes "according to plan". Edgar still honored his first quote. He probably worked an additional two hours, but would not accept anymore payment. All in all, I would highly recommend EIM to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy electrician. Edgar was prompt, professional, honest, and a perfectionist. He did the job on time and for the quoted price all while watching my toddler put on a fashion show!

Unfortunately our schedules did not line up but Eddie offered some great ideas I passed on to other electricians to use.  But the other electricians did not finish the job.  I am hoping to use Eddie to finish the job

Upon arrival he checked the existing electrical to determine what was going on. Then once that was done he immediately began installing the fans. Both fans are in working properly and look nice.

Work was scheduled right away. He came on time, explained everything, showed me his electrician's card and quickly completed the work. The cost was exactly as quoted and a little bit less than another quote that I obtained. I would definitly use this service again.

I am a realtor, and used Eddie's services on a house I was selling. It was crunch time and we needed the repairs done FAST. Eddie came out the same day I called him, ran to home depot to get the parts he needed, and completed the job the same day. Mission accomplished! He fixed a double tap breaker, and installed GFI outlets. We passed the FHA inspection and the house closed on Christmas Eve.

Eddie did a fantastic job. He was on-time for the appointment and did all the work in a timely manner, I would highly recommend!
