I took a family member's car to Duke of Oil for an oil change. The staff were helpful, responsive, and gave me a good estimate of how quickly the car would be ready. Everything went smoothly, as would be expected.

I had been going to this chain for a several years. It appeared they were doing all that was outlined in the oil change service. up until one day I discovered that they never did pull out and check my air cleaner. I had gone to another oil change chain and the manager asked if he could look at the air filter. I thought it was odd he ask but he told me for my particular car, 1999 Saab, it had to come out from the bottom. Once he removed it and showed it to me, he told me that it hadn't been changed in a long time. Hmm, that's funny, I had been under the impression that the duke of oil was looking at it all those years. My conclusion was that the service guys at the Duke would just check the box on the service sheet checklist (line item 4, and quot;checked okand quot;) that it was checked but that wasn't so due to the nature of the filter removal. Since this discovery I have stopped going to the Duke of oil. That was a shame but live and learn. Since then I have found another shop I can trust with truly checking the air filter on my Saab.

They always do a good job and they have a hand car wash and they are very good. They do a good job and I have never been disappointed.

Relatively quick service, friendly staff. Kids doing the work but they seem to know their job well.
