Real Estate Service
We signed a six month contract with this company. During that time, the agent made no apparent effort to sell the house other than place a sign out front and list it on MLS Internet site. The internet listing was inadequate and featured unflattering photographs. Still there were numerous other agents who showed the house, although no serious nibbles from prospective buyers. We discovered later that the broker's fee in our contract (6%) was higher than that offered by other local agents (5.5%). Our agent was rarely available for consultation and offered no feedback or suggestions for enhancing chances for a sale. It seems she simply waited for another agent to sell the house, so that she could claim half the fee. We were totally dissatisfied with the service provided.
