 + -1 moreAll of the appliances were inexpensive and we have had to replace everyone of them except the stove. Our electricity stopped working in the master suite. When we had an electrician out they stated there was only 1 wire ran for the back of the house. The electrician said this is unusual. Now our heating and A/C unit is not working. The doors were not hung right. Throughout the years we have had several issues with our home.
Description of Work: They built our home in 1999.

 + -1 moreI ALSO HAD TO PAY A PLUMBER $1200 TO RUN THE SUMP PUMP LINE UNDER MY CRAWL SPACE BECAUSE IT DRAINED INTO MY YARD AND LEFT STANDING WATER LIKE A SEWAGE THING. I'VE TRIED TO GET THEM TO FOLLOW UP ON THEIR WARRANTY WORK, AND THEY WILL NOT. I SPOKE WITH TERRY ONCE, HE SAID HE WOULD COME AND DO EVERYTHING I HAD REQUESTED, AND WHEN I CALLED HIM TO FOLLOW UP HE SAID HE WOULD NOT. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE. NOBODY EVERY FOLLOWED UP OR CAME BACK TO TALK WITH ME AGAIN ONCE THEY GOT MY MONEY.
Description of Work: THEY BUILT MY HOME. WHILE THEY WERE BUILDING, APPLIANCES WOULD APPEAR AND THEN RE-APPEAR (3 TIMES) SO THAT GAVE ME THE IMPRESSION THAT APPLIANCES WERE INCLUDED. THEN AFTER THEY GOT MY MONEY, NO APPLIANCES WERE LEFT IN THE HOME. THEY SWITCHED THINGS OUT OF MY HOME AS THE MORTGAGE CLOSE WAS COMPLETED. I CAME IN THE MORNING AND INSPECTED THE HOME, AND EVERYTHING WAS HERE. I CAME BACK TO START MOVING IN AFTER 4PM AND NOTHING WAS THERE, NO APPLIANCES. I FOUND LATER THAT THE PROPERTY TAXES HADN'T BEEN PAID BY THE BUILDER FOR 3 YEARS (IT WAS A MODEL HOME), SO I HAD TO PAY FOR FOUR YEARS OF PROPERTY TAXES WITHIN 10 DAYS OF CLOSING OR I WAS FACING FORECLOSURE. AS I WAS MOVING IN MY WASHER AND DRYER, I FOUND THAT THE DOOR TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM DIDN'T CLOSE PROPERLY, SO I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $2500 TO INSTALL A NEW WALL WITH A POCKET DOOR SO THAT THE DOOR WOULD CLOSE AND THE WASHER AND DRYER WOULD FIT. THE TOILET TANK TOPS WERE CHANGED OUT AND DON'T FIT PROPERLY ON MY STOOLS.
