Roto-Rooter

Paid ~$12k and the problem wasn't adequately taken care of. Poor customer service. Poor communication. Seemingly deceptive labor practices. No follow through.

Another plumber had said the cost of repair would be in the $500 to $1,000 range. We asked Roto-Rooter to give us a cost estimate. We made the appointment on line & received a call back to confirm within the hour. The person on the phone was very professional, & we were kept informed all along the way by text. The quote by Roto-Rooter was $174, including 10% senior discount, & the plumber was able to make the repair immediately. We are very happy to have our kitchen back within the same day, & at a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend & use them again.

They did exactly what they said they would do for the exact price. They do nice work

What I liked was they got the job done. It’s the main of it. There was a little bit of discrepancy between what they said they were going to do and what they did. They did a good job. I wasn’t sure what time they were going to show up, I think it was a little bit later than what I thought. I would consider using them again.

The technician was very nice and knowledgable. However, he arrived 1 1/2 hrs later than his scheduled time of arrival.

Vala from Roto-Rooter spent several hours unclogging the various lines in my house.  Vala was pleasant, friendly and polite the entire time.  He worked tirelessly in the rain for hours and then came in and ensured that all the toilets and lines were unclogged.  I was very impressed with Roto-Rooter and Vala.  I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.
The only negative is that I was assured that a supervisor would come out and check the work and that has not happened.  It is not a big deal as everything is working well.  Again, I would use Roto-Rooter in the future.

Dave called to reschedule from 10:30 am to 8:30 am and was here promptly at 8:30.  Within  10  minutes he assessed the situation, gave us our options.  Problem solved by 9: 15.

We called them to come look at our main sewer blockage. They came promptly. After attempting to snake the drain we were told they would have to videoscope the next day. They worked with us to schedule a time that worked. They showed up later than they said, and the guy video scoped but said that his scope "went black" when it hit the blockage. Then he gave us 3 estimates all involved digging up our yard and the cheapest was $5,000, the most expensive was $10k. The sales guy was nice but a bit pushy and of course they offer a 10% discount if you sign that day. THANK GOD we asked a local company to come out and look at it and they snaked it and cleared it for $125, problem solved. When I called the local place the lady said, "you had the young guy didn't you? He tells everyone they need a full replacement." I will never use this company again. So much stress and worry for a problem that could have been solved if they would have run their line 5 more ft.

Technician did a great job. Arrived very quickly and attempted to open the drain from the basement location. This did not work so he utilized a larger unit and went to an outside remote access pipe and successfully opened the system, for which I am very grateful.

They came out and took the pictures.  He said he could send the pictures to my phone.  He said if I could pay him and let him go on his way, he would come back and give me a DVD of the pictures.  After he left, I haven’t heard from him and he will not answer/return my phone calls.  I paid $200 for nothing.  I don’t have any of the information that I paid to obtain.  He was supposed to come back for additional jobs, but never came back.
