My family took many Super 8 movies of reunions, sports, camping, etc. back in the early to mid-70s. I wanted to see if I could have these transferred to disc. I contacted and joined Angies List and I received back many options as to what and who to contact. I contacted Prism Video Productions after looking at their website. I called Steven Weir and set up an appointment to take my reels of movies to see what he could do with them. Having not seen these movies in over 30 years myself, and with our labeling system we used, that failed us, I really had no idea what was on many of the 105 reels I had. I took 35 of the reels and and Steven had his projector set up ready to go and he would have sat there with me as we watched all 35 reels, but after watching a few seconds of several reels, I decided to not look at all of them but to just go with it. Steven had quoted me a price on the first phone call I made to him. I had told him how many reels I had and what I wanted done to them. A few days later, Steven called me and said he had the "proofs" ready for me to look at and to make any changes that I wanted, such as changing the order of the movies. Each movie on the proof disc had a title to it, that was written on the reel itself, such as "Reunion 1972", etc. That was a very nice touch. After reveiwing the two proof discs, I called Steven and told him of the minor changes I wanted to make and that I wanted four extra copies made. A few days after that I received in the mail my final copies of the discs. Each copy was in its own special carrying case with our name on each case. I am very very very satisfied with the result, and I highly recommend using Prism Video Productions, and I will again on some of the other 70 reels I have left. The price that Steven quoted to me on the first phone call was what the price was. If anyone wants to bring these family treasures back to life, I highly recommend Prism Video Productions in Muncie, Indiana.
