Auto Tires
At the time, NTB was the closest/only installation contractor for the online retailer TireRack. After I'd bought a full set of tires online, I had them shipped to NTB; when I got the email notice they'd arrived there, I called them and made an appt. to have the tires put on the same week. The tire service was prompt; new tires installed, no surprises in that respect, charges amounted to what I'd been told on the phone: basic tire service with valve stem, balancing, installation, old tire disposal.
I also had serious pre-existing brakes problems on the car; I was aware of this problem and intended to have them worked on after my tire situation was resolved. However, the NTB guy working on my tires brought me back to the bay and showed me that both front rotors had large, visible cracks; he advised not waiting on the repairs. I got an estimate the same day, left the car overnight, came back and picked it up with the brakes replaced the next day. Since then, the brakes have been far more reliable, though there's apparently still air in the brake line -- the brake pedal hits the floor periodically and requires "pumping" back up.
