We purchased an American Standard tub and surround along with a new Delta faucet. One of the in-house installers from Lowe's of Muncie showed up late on the day of installation and began the tear out. He returned late in the morning the second day to install the new tub and surround. It was obvious he was in a hurry. The drywall was damaged around the tub during removal and he literally slopped drywall mud around and called it good! I wish I had a picture to shame this big box installer. I ended up requesting another installer to fix the issue. The Muncie store delayed any action for nearly three months, as they wanted the same installer to return and I refused. They finally had an installer from the Bluffton store come down at my request. He was alarmed at the horrible job that had been done and said the entire tub/surround would have to be ripped out for him to start from square one. Another tub set was ordered and the installer from the Bluffton store did a professional, great job. I will never have another installation done by the Muncie Lowe's store.
