They finally decided to be right with me as the vehicle I lost was $3,800.00 when I bought it and I got 4 or 5,000 more into it with new tires and a new starter and everything else. They were going to give me $1,800.00 and I told them that I did not think that was right. They started out with $2,200.00 and they mentioned the $500.00 deductible, the tax on the deductible, and $500.00 for salvage. I told them there was no way that would happen as I would just take the vehicle and fix it myself. I spoke with a lady the other day and she said that she was taking over the case. She came up with a sum of approximately $3,360.00 and I thought that was reasonable compared to what I paid for it. I did agree to that and she told me that I would receive another $250.00 for not having any accidents. She let me know that they would get the check sent quickly and she extended the rental car as well. The tire initially came off and I managed to maintain control but it was totalled by the insurance company. The lady I talked to was Charlotte Playnns. She is the one who took over the case. Denise Hernandez was the first lady and I could not get anywhere with her. It went from bad with the first lady to good with the second so I will keep them now for my insurance coverage.
