They did a good job

tr,Wenz Corporation, run by Dave and Mary Wenz, is a company that had become quite rare.  It does what it promises to do, does it extremely well and in the time promised.   Dave Wenz spent a great deal of time examining and planning our project, he told us exactly what things would cost and what any "extras" we wanted would cost us, he called each time he said he would, he returned all our calls promptly, he answered all our questions completely, he showed up on time, he kept us informed of the progress of the job and if any variables appeared, he told us immediately, and he and his wonderful crew did exactly what they said they would do and they did it well.  We needed roofing replaced because of wind damage -- and most of the roofing work was covered by insurance.  However, as the project developed, it turned out we needed additional work on our porch because the main supporting beam had rotted out due to the problems with the roof allowing water to get to the porch supports.  Mr. Wenz spent a great deal of time planning this part of the project because it was difficult and complicated, but it went off without a hitch.  When we decided we wanted a higher grade of roofing felt than the insurance provided, Mr. Wenz told us what our options were, what each one cost, and what he recommended.  This gave us the chance to make a selection that satisfied our wants and yet gave us a professionally intelligent choice.  When existing siding has to be removed in order to install new flashing, etc., the sidig was replaced perfectly.  Everything Wenz Corporation did was done well, on time and in a highly professional manner.  The way the "crew" cleanup up each evening was amazing.  And when we needed additional work done that Wenz Corporation did not provide, they gave us recommendations of who to call and each recommendation turned out to be as professional and excellent as Wenz Corporation itself.  Wenz may not have been the cheapest choice and it might not have been the biggest company we considered, but it was by far the best.   Dave and Mary Wenz run a quality operation.  The people they have working for them reflect that quality and the commitment to doing the best job possible for the customer.  If you want work done on your home by a company you can trust, give Wenz Corporation a call.

I reported recently on this company for installing new gutters and just a week ago used them again to rescreen a front porch.  Once again they are just above and beyond.  Professional, neat, on time, cost effective, great work.

It went great.  I left on vacation and turned the house over to Dave's crew.  It was done when I returned, as promised.  As always, the quality of the work was excellent and the price was less than I expected it would be.  Dave's and his crew are skilled, dependable, and efficient, and they exhibit two qualities rarely found in the world of contractors -- great communication about the progress of the job and punctuality in getting it done when promised.   I have already scheduled another meeting with Dave to discuss a kitchen remodel.   Wenz Corporation is exceptional.    

This was a small home and did not fit their normal larger project work - they asked if I could wait until fall.  They were excellent in contacting me in the fall and we got the work completed as agreed in the spring before winter.  They suggested different ways to set the drain pipes - really good work, great clean-up and very nice workmen. 

On the wind damage work once again they were outstanding.  Did a very nice job of matching the existing siding and one would never know there had been damage.  Repaired in a timely manner.  Recommended to me by my insurance agent.  Very good reputation of good work.

It has gone great -- the best experience I have ever had with a contractor of any kind.   Dave Wenz was recommended to me by a friend who was very happy with a kitchen renovation he did.  Dave and his crew are highly skilled at what they do, which seems to be just about everything.  Dave has provided detailed and accurate estimates every step of the way, and I have been consistently surprised by the fairness of the costs.  For example, he replaced all the windows in my house with very good quality windows at a price much less than I paid a different installer for a similar job at a different house some twelve years ago. 

He has offered good advice on every aspect of every job, and has done every project promptly and when scheduled.  Excellent overall and in every respect. 

When roof was repaired, my husband had to go several miles away to pick up some material and make a portion of the repair himself while the work persons were on the job.  The repairs to the inside went fairly well, although the workman wasn't made aware prior to arriving what the exact area of the ceiling that needed to be repaired was.

The work what they did was very good. They put in a new down-spout and they didn't put anything down below in. We are trying to work that now. We called and asked them to come out and look at it, they told us they were too busy and that the particular problem (which we considered finishing the job) was not part of the contract, which is true.

Wenz Corporation did excellent work at a very fair price. Dave and his crew showed up as scheduled, completed the work promptly, and did it right. He excels at that rarest of qualities for a contractor -- responsiveness. I was updated daily, sometimes several times a day, while the work was progressing, and I was always pleasantly surprised at what I found when I returned home at the end of the day. Every worker was capable and professional. I have more projects lined up in the next few weeks. It has been the best experience I have ever had with a contractor.

I think they are always responsive and do good work. They make sure that any subcontractors that are used provide the best services that are available. We will definitely continue to use them for any work that we need to have done in the future.

David Wenz was extremely polite and professional. He arrived on time for all appointments as did all of his laborers. He took the time to explain exactly what work he was going to perform and the amount of time it would require. All calls were returned promptly and he made himself available for any questions by giving me his cell phone number, if I had any concerns. His receptionist Monique was very nice and understanding to my phone calls and relayed the messages very efficiently. Robin Brown did a fantastic job on dry wall and painting. She was very personable and very careful to make sure everything was covered and cleaned up at the end of the day. All work was completed quickly and on time. Everything was cleaned up and disposed of daily. I would recommend this company very highly to anyone!!

I've never had any problems with the company and will continuously use them in the future. They do an excellent job and I'd highly recommend them to others!

When it came to redoing the roof, they get an A for everything. The window sealing crew were a little goofy, but they got the job done.

Dave always does great work and is very responsive. Although we are having them repair roofs for the condos I am sure they are also interested in providing estimates for single dwelling homes as well.
