Tony The Toolman

Amanda and Chris were great; they did exactly what I asked them to do and they did a great job.  Amanda did some repair and caulking around the shower for me and she did a very precise job.  Chris fixed a headboard and frame for me; he did a great job of improvising in order to do the repair.  I always keep a running tab of repair projects to do around the house and I will definitely call Tony the Toolman again and request Amanda and Chris.

I purchased a deal from Angie's List for Tony the Toolman on September 10, 2014 for $299 for 8 hours of work.  My husband contacted Tony on Monday, September 15.  Tony said he would send 2 men out to do the work on Wednesday, September 17 at 10 am.  The 2 men arrived as scheduled on the 17th and set to work.  They needed to replace seven boards on the top of the pergola that had to each be customed trimmed to match the other existing boards.  They also custom cut and "wrapped" each leg with trim giving the pergola legs an over all finished look.  One hour was deducted from our alloted 4 hours for 2 men because they had to stop and buy a box of screws.  We gave them permission to work an additional 4 hours at $60 per hour to finish the project.  The price of the box of screws was included in the final fee of $547.00  We provided the lumber.
The men cleaned up the area and hauled off all the debris.  They worked dilgently the whole time they were at our house.We are very pleased with their work.  We were overjoyed to have a contractor to schedule and actually show up and do the work in a very timely fashion.

Tony contacted me almost immediately after I requested his service, and throughout our business dealings his level of communication and professionalism were exemplary.  After I explained my projects, he recommended two men for two hours, and I'm so glad that I took his advice.  Tony also explained that I provided all of the materials, and he answered questions about specific items I needed to purchase.  The handymen showed up on time, were very polite and courteous, and explained several options to me after I showed them my projects.  We also discussed how to prioritize the work.
I will hire Tony the Toolman for other handyman projects!

Tony always communicated about what was going in and what needed to be done. He never strayed to tell us that it would cost more or less. The bathroom is beautiful and we are satisfied with the work.

The services were excellent and with overall dedication you can tell in the work. From day one of the water main break to day five of the over all remodle the bathroom looks wonderful and everything works sufficently. He knew exactly what he was doing and perfected it to the max. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.
