So many things were left undone the list would be too long.  Examples:  Exterior outlets don't work.  HVAC wasn't cleaned so the heater went out.  Light switches in kitchen pop and spark.  Gas fireplace won't light. Insulation not installed.  Shutters a different color. I would never ever recommend them to anyone I care about.... no to no one.  I'm still dealing with my insurance company to get things fixed 15 months after the explosion and a year after moving back in after being out of the house for five months.

Crew showed up early, got the job done, did a decent job cleaning up.  I had a few issues concerning the skylight as well as some of the guttering a month or so  later and had a hard time tracking down someone to resolve the issue.  In retrospect Neff construction were storm chasers that were your best friends until they got their money. 

I encourage anyone to avoid this company.  I had a bunch of hail damage from a storm.  They started out okay, but I was first irritated when the subcontractors began showing up at my house to do work when I hadn?t been notified that they were coming.  I let that go.  One of the contractors broke a board on the outside of my sliding door.  When I saw it and notified them, they sent the same contractor out (weeks later after it had rained many times) who said that they board was rotten and not their responsibility.  Of course, it was rotting because the inside had been exposed to rain for weeks.  I had to force them to fix the board as Bert Neff tried to refuse and even tried to make me feel guilty for forcing them to fix the board. 
It got worse when the work was about done.  I made three different appointments with this guy to go over the invoice.  He missed all three and never even called me to let me know he couldn?t make it.  The first time, he called me about four days later to reschedule.  The second time, he text me six days later to reschedule.  The last time, he text me the next day and told me his kid had a baseball game.  I took off work to meet him and never received even an apology.  I finally refused to reschedule with him. 
After a lost insurance check was reissued (an issue I informed him about), I immediately sent it to the mortgage company.  While waiting for them to process the check, I received text messages from Bert telling me that not having the payment yet was ?beyond ridiculous.?  He continued with a string of text messages telling me that I need to get the process sped up.  When I informed him that it might have been faster had he not missed multiple appointments he told me that I ?wasn?t out any time.? This guy is incredibly unprofessional and arrogant.  I strongly warn anyone from doing business with him.

The guys from Neff Construction did an excellent job on my basement.  They took the time to ensure all of the work was done to time, standard, and quality.  They were always in good contact with me throughout the process.  They exceeded my expectation on the overall result of my basement.  My basement is the best and favorite part of our home now.  The man cave!/family movie theatre.  We had a great experience with Neff Construction and their employees.  I have and will continue to refer them to other people for assistance.  They have been the 2nd contractor to work on my home that did their job, exceeded my expectations, and didn't take advantage of me.  Fantastic company.

Overall I was completely satisfied with their work, I love the color of my new roof and have had no issues with anything to this date.  I had no problems with contacting them regarding payment, the secretaries are extremely polite and willing to help each time I called into the office.  I have referred Neff Construction to all my neighbors and closest friends, they have all yet to be unsatisfied with their work as well.

From the moment I called I spoke with a very nice receptionist. They got someone out to do an estimate for me right away. They started working on my house quickly. The quality of the work, workers, and customer service was outstanding! The work was finished on time and they cleaned everything so there was no mess left behind. I would use this company again in a heart beat!

I didn’t like anything about them. They replaced my roof and they screwed up the skylight and they failed to repair it properly five or six times and they wouldn’t replace it.

We began to notice ceiling moisture and leaks around Thanksgiving 2010. I called the contractor twice to report this problem, and no one called me back for three weeks. He then said he could not evaluate the roof until all snow and ice had melted. It's now mid-February, and he still has not made an effort to examine the roof. We hired an independent home inspector to assess problems in our home, and he found that the roofers had broken shingles around the plumbing vent, and that the damage has caused water to back up into the ceiling. He also said the roofers should have noted that there is not adequate ventilation in the attic, and should have installed an additional vent. The inspector also suspects that inferior underlayment was used on our roof, and he suggested we hire a roofer to further evaluate the problem.

They responded quickly initially, but they were expensive and missed some problems. They also became offended when I informed them that I would be using someone else for the repairs, treating me as though they had an automatic right to do the work.

They performed as expected. The job was completed on time. They had good quality workmanship.

It worked out great. We had seen signs of there company, and decided to call. My husband and I both work full time. We were unable to be there at the time of the inspection. Neff went ahead and looked at our home, and then reported back to us. When first calling the office, the young lady (Kristen) that answered the phone was so very polite and happy, very very happy. She scheduled our inspection, the inspection was performed by Mike, we received our report back within the same week, compared it with other estimates we had received (that we had to be there to meet the contractor). We called the company back about 2 weeks later, and signed our agreement. All the work we had agreed upon was done on the dates given, with the exception of the gutters which had been pushed back due to weather. I am very excited about the way my home looks!

They were quick, did exactly what they said they were going to do and communicated effectively. The crew had good people, they were clean and the place was kept clean constantly.

If he told you he was going to do something, it happened in a very prompt time. He was true to his word. They were very efficient. Their clean up was excellent. We had a small issue with landscaping that he readily took care of on the spot. Their work was very good quality. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors.

In June 2006 they replaced my roof after the hail storm. In June 2008 a leak developed around my chimney. Since the roof was still under warranty I called Neff. They took 5 days to return my initial call and said that I should file an insurance claim for the roof because they believed it to be storm damage. They made this assumption without looking at my roof. I told them that I did not believe this was storm damage because the brunt of the storms that had passed through the Indianapolis area recently had gone North of my home. They still refused to come out to survey the roof. As of right now the issue has not been resolved. I believe this leak developed due to sloppy workmanship not storm damage.

Came out and evaluated the damage. Took a while for us to be scheduled. They ended up missing an entire section of roof, which I pointed out during inspection. A poor effort was made to clean up the old roofing nails from the driveway and gutters. When we went to sell the house, we needed to additional work. This contractor pointed out several areas of poor workmanship - flashing, finishing shingles, the gullies of the roof. Billing was the worst. We never received a bill. They used the insurance companies estimate. Then, Neff failed to remove from the invoice work never done. This took over a month to resolve, with Neff taking the stance that it was us holding up the works.

I called the last week of July and someone else scheduled Jason to come out to our farmhouse in Mooresville for a remodeling job on Monday July 30th at 6:00 P.M. He never showed and no one from their office ever called to explain why or to reschedule.

I agreed to hire them in June of 2006 to do the repairs on my home from the storm damage. At first they showed up promptly with the supplies for the roof, so I thought they were really on top of things. After that they stopped showing up. It took another four months to put the gutters on and since December of 2006 they have been blaming the weather and the sub contractors they use as excuses for why they can't show up. I have not paid them yet but it is the principle of the thing that I hired to do the job and they haven't showed to do anything! I just want the work finished and I am tired of getting the run around.

The work was well done. Starting with the time spent with the sales rep, Jason Derringer, the transaction went well. He explained that Neff would work with our insurance company to perform the work for what the insurance company agreed to pay, limiting our exposure. Neff is somehow certified by our insurance company, State Farm. The roof was done quickly. My only frustration was with scheduling. We did not receive much notice of when the different work crews would be on site. We attributed this to the problems with having so much work going on with all the repairs to so many houses from the hail storm.

Neff knocked on our door looking for business and inspected our house for hail damage 2x (alone and with our ins adj). The 1st time they stated we would need a new roof, siding for the north side and some gutter repair/replace. They asked us to place a sign in the yard ($100 off deduct) and referrals would also be $100/each off deduct (we had 2). Our ins adj said the roof didn't need to be replaced. They missed the 1st appt with the adj for a re-inspect. When the 2nd appt was made they agreed with the adj that the roof didn't need to be replaced. They took copies of my estimate from the ins co and said they would get back with me the next week with contracts and to get us on their schedule. I didn't hear from them. Since June 12, 2006(re-inspect) I have been calling and leaving countless messages. I was contacted 2x's after June 12th. Once to tell me that they had lost the estimate from the ins co and that they had no file on us. The other was to refer us to another company. No Thanks!

They responded swiftly to my RFQ and proceeded in a timely fashion with the work that was required. At one point I questioned weather they had installed the new roof vents, but I found they had actually upgraded them to a more aesthetic model at no extra cost. They worked with both the insurance company directly for adjustments and with me for repairs I could handle personally.
