Kovacs Painting

The work was wonderful Tom, Mary and their crew did a wonderful job. We had chosen a two color paint scheme on a large house with a very steep roof and they handled it flawlessly. They even painted the out building to match the house. The crew was friendly and respectful of our property and did a through clean up each day when they were done. We would not hesitate to use their company again and will be recommending them to our friends and neighbors.

Kovacs Painting crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time, did a thorough preparation that included scraping, a prime coat applied to all raw wood and surfaces and caulking all areas where needed, prior to the exterior painting. The cost estimate included using premium quality Sherwin Williams paint, Duration. The crew estimated that the job would take 1-1/2 to 2 days.  They provided a full day of work each day, until finished.  At the close of the first day, all supplies and equipment were put up and exterior furniture was replaced.
During the project, Tom Kovacs, suggested boxing and sealing the base of the six front porch posts to prevent further water/wood  damage.  Not only did Tom's suggestion address a problem, it looked so nice when he was done.  There were no additional charges for this improvement.
It's comforting to know that your painters are looking at the entire job, not only for a painting upgrade but to include and address any problems that they observe.
We learned about Kovacs Painting when they did a complete interior residential paint job for our family who live next door.  Although we were not the customer, we did go over to view their work and were amazed at the end result -- VERY, VERY NICE!  We feel this is appropriate to share in that often potential customers, go and view the results of a contractor, prior to making a final selection.
Kovacs Painting dependability, quality of work and professionalism of their crew are exceptional.  We will definitely use them again for both interior and exterior paint projects.

They were professional and on time. It went great. I was able to leave them alone in the house while I went to work and I came back, and the work was done.

This company is certainly capable and has the talent necessary for the job. Their work was clean and basically well done. As with all large jobs, you need to go over the work with a careful eye to be sure everything is covered (excuse the pun). Be sure it is what you want before you sign off. My only comment is that once we moved in, getting them back to do finishing work was tedious.

I collected 3 quotes from Angie's List rated companies. Kovacs was a personal referral but I still checked them on AL before calling. Tom and his crew did an exceptional job. There was extensive wood damage on the exterior; pictures were sent to me before continuing the job. Tom was accessible, helpful and very kind. Mary, who provided all quoting and regular contact was equally accessible and kind. I would highly recommend this company. As a result of our business, they now accept American Express!

Excellent finished job. I will definitely have them back to paint the rest of the interior of my house. The refinished bannister is outstanding; I would never have guessed it could look so beautiful. Tom is professional, cares about customer service, and does a quality job. Highly recommended.

They were wonderful.  They did everything exactly how I wanted it.  There was absolutely no mess.  I left, and when I came home from work, they were done.
