KM Drywall

Horrible performance. They did a good job hanging drywall minus around a beam but the finishers did a terrible job. I mean terrible I’ll show just a few pictures in this. But it is horrible. Make me disgusted when I look at drywall in a brand new house. Would not recommend and stay far far away. Tried contacting owner and couldn’t get any response to fix it.

The seams in the cathedral ceilings were jagged sloppy and just looked terrible. hopefully the pictures upload and you can see for yourself. When we did our walk through we expresses our concerns at that time time Mr. Shoopman. He had a representative of KM come over. This guy basically dismissed it and thought it looked OK. After I expressed i didn't think so he just left. I did call two other drywall contractors to look at it. They confirmed what I thought. It was a unprofessional job that would take time, money and a lot of mess to fix. We are just going to have and live with it but are very disappointed. I will say I have no problem with the walls.

Contacted KM Drywall after the failure to find other drywall companies that would travel to my home location in Monrovia. 
Ken answered our call immediately and quickly responsed to our request by sending Troy out to review the work and estimate the work for us.  We choose to move forward with KM Drywall and couldn't be happier with the work.
With our approval, Troy returned within three days and began work on the living room wall that had water damage around the fireplace.  Troy did an excellent job explaining the issue and fixed the wall along with painting the wall in a very short amount of time.  Our living room has 17ft walls and this was not an issue for Troy.
He then moved into our sons bedroom where the drywall on the ceiling had split along a seam and he had to cut away an area and replace the drywall while mimicking the pattern in the ceiling.  This was not an easy pattern to put into the plaster, but Troy was able to perform this work with little to no difference.  Troy finished the living room completely and the ceiling in the same day and was to return the following day to paint the bedroom ceiling when we had an emergency that forced us to leave the house for three days.  Troy said no problem and let him know when we would like for him to return and he would paint the ceiling.  We contacted him five days later and he returned promptly and finished the work.
We couldn't be more satisified with the professionalism and work that KM Drywall did on our issues.

I was reading Angie's list July edition book and saw "KM Drywall" listed under "Growing the List" and thought I would give Ken  Miller a call since his business is located in my town of Mooresville. He gave us a quote for the job and since he was local, I didn't bother getting any other quotes. Once the chimney leak was repaired, I called Ken and scheduled the drywall for August 9th. He showed up on time; cut the appropriate section of ceiling and finished the drywall job. He was quick and thorough. He advised me to run the fan and let it dry before I painted.. I was very pleased with his work!

We were referred to Ken Miller and he took good care of us. He was punctual and professional and his price was far more reasonable than the other quote we received. He listened to what we needed and tailored the job accordingly. We were very pleased with the end result and the overall experience. We will definitely use Ken whenever we need drywall work done at our rental or our home.
