"This was a very extensive project involving Irrigation, electric dog fence and pond fountains. During the process there were damages caused to some of the compoients we installed by other contractors during construction, I responded to every complaint and had several meetings to resolve issues. The dog fence had been cut several times by the downspout drains from another contractor, we eventually installed a completly new wire around the entire property at no cost due to problems caused by the many breaks in the wire, at one point i meet the homeowner to look at an area he had concering a small coverage problem, this was almost a year later, i said to him lets go check out the settings on the controller and he ask me where it was located, up untill this point we had been maintaning the system, and i felt the customer had not been maintaing the property or the irrigation at all, there were several problems during the construction of this homeowners property due to the fact he was trying to save money by over seeing alot of the other projects on this property instead of letting the builder he hired use there contractors. there were problems with the retaining walls falling out, trouble with the septic that backed up into the basement and I felt just an over all lack of experince on his part trying to oversee projects with very limited knowledge. I responded to every call and every meeting on time everytime. I truly belive that everything feel apart when the 8' high retaing wall around the pool started to fall out a year later and the wall contractor had went out of business and this was one of the projects he had taken on him self instead of letting the builder, up untill that point we were working together to resolve any and all issues (mostly just watering schedule and minor adjustments on the irrigation system) Until he tried blaming Ballard Irrigation for the failure of the retaining wall. There was a meeting with the builder, the home owner the pool contractor and Ballard Irrigation, and after inspection and analysis it was quickly determined by the builders manager that the wall was not installed corectly. I pride myself being able to get along with anyone and work on the asumption the customer is always right. In this situation I do admit that there was a heated phone conversation when the defect wall was being blamed on Ballard, I belive i was being used as the scape goat for a very expensive fix that the homeowner could not resolve with the wall contractor that was no longer in business. We maintained our warranty completly and to the full extent and resolved every issue untill the end of our warranty. In any event this was very upsetting to me as a business owner."

"OUR ONE YEAR WARRANTY PERTAINS TO INSTALLATION OF A NEW SYSTEM. AGAIN, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE WEATHER AND CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT A SYSTEM WILL NOT FREEZE. DUE TO THE DROUGHT IN THE EARLY SPRING, IRRIGATION COMPANIES WERE OVERWELMED WITH SERVICE REQUESTS AND WE WERE UNABLE TO GET TO EVERYONE EXACTLY WHEN THEY WANTED. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY CALLED AND TALKED TO THE MEMBER REGARDING THESE ISSUES."
