Aquatic Design & Supplies, Inc., is your complete water gardening store in the Central, IN area. We have provided designs, supplies, maintenance and installation services in the Greater Indianapolis Community since 1992. We also have a complete line of supplies for the do-it-yourselfer. We offer individualized and small group classes for topics including aquaponic and hydroponics, pond construction, and pond maintenance. Call for details! *We install ornamental, backyard ponds NOT large, earthen-based ponds (fishing/farm ponds).

First of all I been a Angles List member over 4 years. I dislike giving to poor review to service provider. When you are a professional provider you need to set the example. Not be an example. On March 19, 2017 I agreed to have them put a skimmer box in my pond. The cost is $504.00. Before that time, Mr. Lumberson DID NOT measure the size of the box. Aquatic Designs put me on the install list. They said it be several weeks to do this because of the rainy weather. On April 19,2017 they told me they be here the next day. They come out and spent 20 minutes to find out that couldn't put one stating I need to keep the system I have. On 4-21 Mr. Lumberton called me and told me they couldn't find one to fit my box. Be another month before they could come out. He said he had bigger jobs than mine (makes me think that mine was not important). Big rule of thumb is measure twice and cut once. Mr Lumberson did not do that. Not professional. here I have a pond I could of used for the last 4 weeks. I had a friend was going to see how a skimmer would work. I can't do that right now. As a owner of this company. You need to step it up when you get behind. Perhaps hire more workers. I still will do business in their retail store. No I didn't outright paid for this job. But I paid for the inconvenience and professions involved. That be said, the are bottom of my list of serving me.

Dan and his workers did a fabulous job. They turned a hole left over from a former in ground pool, into a peaceful park like setting. The installer, Justin, has an eye for detail. He was very selective about how the stones were placed to create the most natural looking water fall possible. They arrived right on time and left as scheduled as well. The entire project only took only 1 1/2 days. We never dreamed this endeavor would add so much beauty to our home and back yard. A job well done. Thank you so much Dan and Aquatic Design staff.

Dan came out and spent a great deal of time talking with us about what we wanted to have in our back yard. His crew came back on time, were professional and efficient. They were careful and respectful of our home and property. They did a marvelous job and the water feature is perfect !

We decided not to go with their design. They were very expensive for the design they were presenting to us. We ended up re doing the pond ourselves. It was not much of a design, but more of a list of things we could do. It was not what I considered an architectural design would be. We did appreciate their ideas. The owner who had come out was very nice and pleasant, as well. They also invited you to come see their models.

Gregg and his crew did a very professional job of turning our backyard mess into a lovely area of shade plants, boulders and walk ways. It will be enjoyable all 4 seasons due to Gregg's expertise. We are planning on them putting in a pond less waterfall next spring.

Dan and the crew from Aquatic Design had everything in stock I needed to repair my pond liner and were happy to provide expertise to apply the patches properly. They have been prompt and professional and fair with pricing. I fully expected to have to pay for the written estimate Aquatic Design provided to repair the disaster left in my yard by Cool Ponds. They provided the estimate for labor and materials at no charge, which required several trips to my property and several hours of their time. I will certainly hire them in the future, but there's no guarantee I'll win my lawsuit against Cool Ponds. I can say I will use them for all of my future pond maintenance and supply needs. Very friendly and professional staff. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!

It went well. They arrived timely and completed the work timely. Cleaned up and left the yard in good condition. It has worked fine since then. The only dislike was I did not like was the brand of skimmer box / pump box that was installed, still do not like it today and I am considering replacing it. The design of the skimmer box is difficult to maintain compared to the other box. Obviously, this company did not manufacture the box!!!! Aquatic Design also installed the first waterfall around '00. So, yes, I would use them again since I have already hired this company twice. I also shop at their Monrovia location for supplies.

I have a small pond that I dug next to the house. (15feet x 20feet ) I made a small water fall. It just wasn't big enough. I tore it out and hauled in 9 tri axle dump truck loades of dirt. I hired Aquatic Design to work with me to build a water fall. Dan and his crew came out and built a water fall that looks 100% natural. I had all the boulders brought in, they placed the boulders on the hill with a bob cat. Several of the boulders weighed from 1000 to 2000 pounds. They added a second pump that delivers 10,000 gallons of water an hour in addition to the first pump that delivers 7,000 gallons an hour, a total of 17,000 gallons of water an hour. With both pumps running its like a white water rapid, (thats my opinoin) its really impressive to see. The finished water fall is 45 feet long with a real wide walk way up the side of it, They did the job on a time and material basis. We are all overwelmed about the quality work that Dan and his crew did for us. This started out to be a very small back yard project. So far I have spent about 40,000.00 on this so called small project and I am not yet finished . I have been working on this water feature for 3 years.

On a scale of 1-10 they are a 10+. They showed up on time and introduced themselves. They worked efficiently and were in and out within 3 hours. The work they did, it was like they owned the pond themselves. Before they started they spoke with to make sure I was fine with what they would be doing to the pond. They throughly cleaned and rearranged everything. You would not have known they were there. They are a superior company. I have had the pond for years and they are the best. I would recommend them to others for not only pond maintenance but also for pond installation.

Aquatic Design is a great place for anything water-feature related. They have an enormous set up at their location and features several small and large ponds. They always have great prices on fish, supplies and are a great source of advice for you own outdoor pond.

THE DESIGN WAS PERFECT - CREATED BY BILL WHO WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. DUE TO WEATHER, THERE WAS A BIT OF A DELAY IN COMPLETION, BUT WE ARE SO DELIGHTED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT THAT IT DIDN'T MATTER. WE HAVE HAD A FEW MINOR PROBLEMS, BUT BILL & DAN HAVE BEEN QUICK TO RESPOND AND ADDRESS. THERE IS CURRENTLY A QUESTION OF A MINOR LEAK WHICH BILL WILL BE REASSESSING. STILL NEED WARRANTY INFO, BUT THAT SHOULD BE FORTHCOMING. CREW LEFT OUR YARD IN FAIRLY GOOD SHAPE UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB. OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO THOSE WITH AN ADVENTURESOME NATURE AS WE RELIED ON THEIR GUARANTEE THAT WE WOULD BE PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME. WE HAD NO DRAWINGS OF WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE, BUT WERE MORE THAN PLEASED WITH THE RESULT.

THE HOUSE WE MOVED INTO HAD A GOLDFISH POND AND AS SOON AS WE MOVED IN IT BEGAN HAVING PROBLEMS. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS ALSO HAD LEFT A BIG BOX FULL OF POND EQUIPMENT. THE AQUATIC DESIGNS TECHS TUNED UP THE POND AND SHOWED ME WHAT EVERYTHING IN THE BOX WAS FOR. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

OWNER DAN LAMBERSON IS ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE I HAVE WORKED WITH OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS THAT IS COMMITTED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE CUSTOMER AND TO MAINTAINING HIS REPUTATION.
