Great !!!!!!!!!!

They did an amazing job of carpet cleaning. I had actually rented out my house and it had been vandalized  and it had a lot of damage and they did an incredible job and that's why they've been my people ever since. They've been awesome. Probably the best business I've dealt with of any kind.

I have three grandkids and two sloppy adults sons who visit, and these guys got the carpets incredibly clean. I've been using them for years, since 2001, but this might have been their biggest challenge -- and they answered with flying colors.

My only problem was finding the location. Apparently they had moved recently and had no sign at their new location. The woman at the front office helped me and was very pleasant.

Setting up the appointment over the phone for the cleaning was a VERY pleasant experience.  I received a reminder call a day in advance to confirm that they were coming out and what time they would be there- a good thing.  They were scheduled to arrive at 8:00am and I called the main number at 8:15 to ask where they were.  "They left a while ago.  Let me call and see where they are."  Perhaps I am spoiled to the ease of communication in this day and age.  I do not understand why the two young men who eventually showed up did not ring me directly to say they were running late.  They told me that their GPS took them the long way.
After we discussed the work to be done and the rooms to be cleaned, they went back out to their van.  After about 5 minutes one came back in the house to let me know they hadn't started yet because they were having problems with the equipment.  I really appreciated that communication.  I continued my own cleaning in the house and after about 35 minutes I had to go outside and ask, "Guys, what's going on?  It's been 35 minutes now and you haven't started."  I was trying very hard to be sympathetic as they could have been my nephews.  They started explaining what was wrong, the equipment wasn't working, etc.  I was looking more for some solid "this is how we are going to take care of this" rather than an explanation of the malfunctioning equipment.  
I asked how this was going to be resolved and was told that they would do whatever worked for me.  I said I needed the carpets cleaned today, not a reschedule, and they were able to accommodate that.  I had only budgeted so much time away from work and left them there.  As I was leaving they informed me that their boss was coming out with a new van and that they would take care of things.
Perhaps my expectations are too high, but I was bummed then that I never received a call from them saying when they actually started the work or that they had completed it and when they left.  I had to call the main office.  I will say that my interactions with the main office were always pleasant, and they ended up Scotch-Guarding the basement for free to ease the chaos of the day.  Were the carpets cleaned satisfactorily?  I suppose.  It was a new-to-us house and luckily the carpets were in pretty good shape from the previous owners; no major stains or other glaring issues.
The icing on the cake was an incorrect invoice from them.  Sigh.  It was handled satisfactorily, but...  My confidence in them was already at a low point.  It was yet another thing I had to take care of when I feel it should have been more straightforward.
I had some high hopes for White House-- a South Bend Tribune 2013 Reader's Choice Award winner (#1), positive comments from my colleagues, reviews from Angie's List.  Perhaps I chose the wrong White House?  There are multiple addresses that appear in Angie's List for White House that I have not figured out yet.  I don't know how or if they are related.  I did use the one located on Lincolnway East.
It's tricky.  I make an assumption that younger workers often do not have a lot of customer service experience (simply not enough time in the field) and so I tried to dig down deep and be understanding.  But at some point it just stopped working for me.  The overall experience was not the best.  Additionally, a month after they did the work there was still an area in the basement that felt damp to the touch.  As I ran my hands over it periodically to see if it was dry yet, my hands always came away with some type of film on it.  Admittedly I have been dragging my feet at calling them about this for help.  I think I fear the hassle.

After having a poor experience with having a year old carpet cleaned, I did not know where to go (glad there is an Angie List). I am so glad I found White House Carpet Cleaners.
Two young men came on time, they both worked making sure all spots, corners, and walk areas were treated and then they cleaned, raked carpet then applied the Carpet protection and raked ithe carpet again to make sure application was evenly in. They answered all my questions. They did a wonderful job on our couch. They did not waste time but did not rush the job. My carpet is clean the way it should be, I am very happy with the job and will call White House next year....I am a and quot;Happy Camperand quot;. You can tell these two men were trained right and want to please the customer.

I thought they did a good job. At least the carpet was clean when they were done. They took some extra care in looking for spots or problem areas. They did a little more work there. The company was good as far as being prompt in doing the work and leaving everything clean and neat when they left. I thought they were very reasonable. They are more of a casual type of company. If somebody is expecting somebody to pull up with a shiny new tuck and be a uniformed guy with a bow tie, that's not him.

Scheduled appointment 3 days in advance. On the day of service, the office called as a reminder and the driver called when he was on the way. Spot treated stains. Cleaned carpet, main floor, 4 bedrooms, walk in closets, halls and 2 stair wells. Professional service. Made 25 year old white carpet look nice again!

Fantastic!! Did a excellent job on carpet. Got almost all the stains and spots out and there were many. Only took about 1 hour with two men. Totally satisfied.

It was a good experience. He was very friendly; he walked me through the rooms and showed me the areas that needed more attention. They used black light to show where there were any pet stains.

They were very thorough in finding the issues; restoring; and removing and replacing my carpeting. They were professional and gave me great piece of mind.

I thought they did a good job, considering what the carpet looks like. We have had them out twice. They came out really quickly.

Great company.  Got out hair dye that was in my floor.  the kids had got highlighter on the floor and they were able to get this out too!  The only reason I didn't give them an A is because I had to leave a message on a phone to make an appointment.  they did a great job on the carpets!
