The crew that did the ducts were on time and very professional. The carpet cleaning crew did a good job on the carpets but forgot to put some furniture back where it belonged. Not a real big deal, just annoying.

New carpet had just been installed on my stairs, and my son tracked in an orange stain that appeared to be paint. It turned out to be a crushed, wet, orange pencil that was more like a chunks of crayon. I had been warned not to try anything to clean it up, so I didn't on the new carpet, but did spot clean on some old carpet. It cleaned up pretty well considering the stain resistance of the old carpet had long since been gone. A young man from Steamatic came in and walked right on the spots. I had to ask him to please try to avoid stepping on the stains, so that they wouldn't be ground in. He was very polite, and agreed not to step on them. He then went through the regular cleaning procedure. I had told him that it was new carpeting, less than a week old, and he just needed to clean the stains, but he cleaned all the stairs, even ones without stains. The problem is that each time you steam clean it takes out a little of the stain- resistance (gone in about 5 cleanings). Basically, the cleaning decreased the stain resistance in a week old carpeting that didn't need cleaning. But the biggest problem is that the cleaning didn't get the stain out. I had better luck with the 15 y.o. carpet. I had to ask him to try it again, and asked him if he scrubbed it. He said, and quot;No, we might have a scrub brush in the truck.and quot; Silence.
and quot;Well, could you check?and quot; I asked.
and quot;Sureand quot;. After that exchange, he found a brush, scrubbed it, and it came out much better. He was very sweet, did everything I asked, was very sorry when I scolded him for stepping on the stains, but I felt like I was dealing with a child. The company itself was very responsive, but they really should train their workers. If it is a simple cleaning, their responsiveness and their price might make it worth it. If it involves anything more than that, I would not recommend them. The professionalism score is meaningless because the home company was courteous and responsive (A), but the worker had no expertise (F).

They were very friendly and it was great overall. I would've liked to have had may be a few more of the carpet odors removed, but that's not always possible.

It was a great experience. They showed up and finished on time. Everything came out really nice.

.They have a lot of bargain specials that makes their services very reasonable. I have friends that use this company for flood clean-up as well. I have always been happy with their service.

It was a positive experience with them. They did a good job and they were in and out in an hour. They did what they came to do. They were here right on time.
