Unprofessional liars. They made the situation worse then it was to begin with. They said they would fix it but it would cost me an additional amount of money that was 7times the cost of what I paid for the original visit. I went with them because they were half the cost of others for the service I needed.

Terrible company full of liars. We spent nearly $20,000 for a new heater and AC, and after over two weeks of emails and phone calls we still don't have all of the services we paid for completed. It has taken 6 separate technician visits because they don't train properly if at all. We still have an improperly installed duct and humidifier that isn't event supposed to be there, and it took over two weeks to get our invoice that was already paid off. Avoid this company at all costs. The sales / PM team are liars, the customer service team is disconnected from reality, and their techs are mostly untrained and/or unqualified.

Very expensive and no follow through from defective installed shower head they claimed they reordered after the check was cashed. Never returned phone call. Will not renew yearly maintenance contract for air conditioner and furnace. Very disappointed.

They were great, very good payment plan. 5 years no interest. That is why we chose them.

We have loyal customers of HCE for 8 years. We have been members of their platinum plan and have been extremely happy with the professionalism and promptness of their service. They have always ensured that any issue that we had was immediately addressed. Fast forward to today, I am amazed at how things have changed. First, they changed our membership from platinum to Gold level, which we pay almost the same monthly fee. Btw, almost none of the services we joined the membership for exist in this level. Our service tech who performed our last tune up, happened to be the supervisor, did around 30% of the tune up. After 8 years of bi-yearly maintenance performed by HCE, this supervisor told us within 5 min of being at our house that the ac was shot and needed replaced. Didn’t record his visit on our log that every other tech has done and did not replace filter even after telling us that a new great change to our plan was free filter replacement Unbelievably poor, and nobody has reached out to us after multiple attempts to contact them. Please say this was just one horrible experience

I wrote a glowing review back in 2017 when they quickly and professionally replaced my units after furnace quit in Feb 2017. The units came with a program ("club") to inspect them. Because of being sick during the end of 2019, then the whole covid quarantine mess, I let them know I'd not be scheduling until I felt it was safer. So ... I tried to schedule an inspection and was told I could just pay the tech $89 when he got here. What? Oh! My free inspection club thing had been canceled in July of 2018. BY THE COMPANY. They decided I wasn't using it because I had trouble scheduling around my work hours, which were crazy back then, so it was canceled. Without any notice. So about a year and a half after sinking a crapton of money into a brand new vac system, they took it upon themselves to change up the agreement. Up to this point, I had recommended them to anyone needing service or replacement because their technicians are really great. Now I can't do that anymore. Scoping out another company to come out to inspect my a/c and will pay them the fee instead.

We had a catastrophic failure of our heat-pump which created water damage to the furnace and it was totally destroyed. Service and sales were very helpful and kept us well informed. Install guys were right on time and worked 12 straight hours to get the job finished. We, of course paid for everything, but I need a write-up and the pictures they took so i can submit an insurance claim. I was promised that a week ago and its like they fell off the face of the earth. Can't get the information or calls returned and they are not answering cell phones. If this was $14,000.00 out of your pocket would you expect service after the fact? So if you want good quick service and don't care about further help they are pretty good. i'm rather disappointed myself.

The install team was great, the product has been great, but the sales are deceptive. The free furnace is of course not free. The total cost minus the cost of the free furnace was the same as other companies total price with no free furnace. The only saving grace of this company is the service and the product line.

They took care of it quickly as I didn't have hot water when I called them. I trust them. I appreciate their honesty they have never done me wrong. They put booties on to come in my house.

I have a maintenance plan. They are honest. Promptness. When I have a problem they come quickly. I am a member so I get first priority over a non member. I am happy with everything that they do.

Technicians arrived at the appointed time. Did the work efficiently and effectively. Answered all my questions. Friendly and helpful. Price matched another quoted and was significantly lower than a 3rd quote.

This service didn't cost me anything.  I bought the house and it had a new heating and air conditioning system that apparently went down.  They serviced it under warranty.  They kind of went above and beyond because I guess apparently the warranty was only parts, but they just fixed it for free since it was a newer unit.  The entire core of the unit had to be replaced.  It was the furnace.  It was like freezing up as air was going through it.  It was weird because it was coming from the air conditioning, going to the furnace, blowing it out, and then the whole thing freezing, I guess.  I would give them an A-plus in every category.

Bi annual prepaid service call! Tech is really a door to door salesman. They try to sell extra service (they don't tell you price until after service rendered an it is offered in a way that makes you think its part of prepaid service). Filters and other gadgets are way over priced IE I buy my filters on internet at 1/3 there price for better filters. Buyer beware!

I helped my sister-n-law locate this company through Angie's List and since they had an A rating, we tried them. She called them and they came to offer quote the next day. They quoted her $12,000 for a system that can be purchased anywhere else for $3,000. I was beyond appalled that they wanted $9,000 to perform a basic installation in a 1600 square feet ranch home on a slab. The house has a cement patio on the back where the main outside unit would be less than fifteen feet from the breaker box and no more than another fifteen feet to the head inside the house. This all happened several days ago and I still can not figure out how a company with any conscience can charge someone three times the material cost for the most basic simple installation that they will ever have. I am not sure if it was the fact that my sister-n-law is over fifty and her eighty year old father was with her when the salesman came, but my advertisement for this company will all be free from this point on. If someone from this company would like to contact me regarding this manner, I would be glad to discuss further.

You got to watch them though because they put a air conditioner outside and it wasn't right the insides were, My son caught them he took a picture of the inside of the air conditioner before the put the cover over it and he said that is not right, Well the room that they store the air conditioners and when they keep them in the store room some how some of them get ruined but they weren't going to change that and my son had taken pictures and showed it to the company and my son works at a company he does all that type of work so he knows and we got a new air conditioner unit because of it. they were going to just put a cover over it. They put a water specter in for me and osmosis water and they didn't put it on tight enough down in the cellar and it ruin all. it leaked in the closet and destroyed a lot of books down there an stuff that we had my husband old I don't know how much the are worth, they have to be more careful.

We paid for extended warranty; they were supposed to come out 2 times a year and they never showed up one time. Then I had to pay $85 for him to come out on a Sunday to fix something which was dirty and all he had to do was clean it. That should have been done on a service call that they never came out and did. I ended up paying $85 because it cost like $169 for the extended warranty.  They didn't come out at all so I ended up having to pay $85 out of pocket.
