Gurley Leep Nissan

Not so good! Received bill for $156, along with quotes for Transmission pan, Shocks, brakes, ball joint, belt, and tune up. Total of quotes about $2700. Diagnosing transmission pan leak could not have taken 10 minutes. They at least topped off transmission fluid. I asked why so high, he said had to pay the technicians. Asked if payment would be applied to repairs, nope. Didn't want to argue, just won't go back. Thanks Angie, for letting me vent a little.

Very bad. I had a free oil change, but I wanted an upgrade to Mobil one full synthetic and said i would pay the difference. Average price for a Mobil one full synthetic ( i have lived in several states) is $65. They claimed it was $100. I needed a tire sensor changed and was quoted $65 from another city. At Gurley Leep Nissan, I was quoted $215!!!! I got them down to $180, but i should have walked away and gone to the other mechanic. I will not be back. I still have another free car oil change, but it will be shredded.

Very professional, oil changes, fluids topped, tires checked and rotated, general inspection.

It was a very pleasant experience. I bought a new car form Gurley Leep in December. Late in April I started to notice that the transmission seemed like it was almost slipping. I called the service center and the gentleman said to bring it in for them to look at. When I arrived the service man went with me on a drive. He said the RPM's look good and that the slight raise of idle was due to the car warming up. This is the first car with this new type of transmission in it and the service tech really took the time to explain to me what was going on. At no point in time did I feel like an idiot. Very professional and courteous. On another venture for my wife to pick up her car at Gurley Leep Nissan service last winter, my wife had to go over what they serviced while the car was there. This could be tough with a 4 year old in tow. The service men spent time with my son so my wife could listen and pay attention to the man speaking to her. The gentlemen even played in the snow with my son for a minute. Upon leaving, The service man told my son to say the magic words...and 1, 2, 3, the gate opened for my wife to pull out. It really is the little things that help.

The process was nearly frighteningly easy. We responded to a letter sent by the dealership about getting a two-year newer car for the same price we were paying for our old car. We made an appointment to speak with a dealer, talked with him and set up a trade for a few dollars more than we were paying at the time. We even got the color of car that we wanted.

They told me that it was a ballast and it would cost about $400.00 to get it replaced. They wanted us to go with them because they had diagnosed the vehicle. We went to Fort Wayne and had another dealership fix it and my husband told that service department that I needed to have ballast. They replaced per our request and then found out it was a $5.00 fuse. Everytime we go in there to get an oil change they tell us something else is wrong.
