GRANITE CREATIONS

I cannot say enough kind words about the high quality work that the team at Granite Creations provides. From their attention to detail to their professional installation, they are top notch. We had an extra large countertop put in the kitchen and they worked with me to get EXACTLY what I dreamed of and managed to do it in one piece! They are personable and really enjoyable to work with. Now that our house is finished, I can honestly say that I will miss working with them.

Buyer beware - Would not do business here -  I was doing a bath remodel and had selected a granite remnant piece from this fabricator for a new vanity top.  The remnant was marked with my name to insure it would be custom cut for the vanity. At the time of install, I was out of town and could not supervise the workers, but my husband was home and kept me posted on the progress. By the time I returned home, the install had been completed.  But when I walked into my bath, something just didn't look right.  The granite shade seemed different from what I remembered selecting.  Also, the finish was dull in several areas and scratches from the fabrication were also noticeable - defninitely not what I had not expected. Since I didn't like the final result, I decided to have the top remade and returned to the shop to see if there was another piece that I could use. When I toured the remnant area, I was shocked to see that my original piece was still there with my name attached! I had obviously not gotten what I had originally paid for.  It also explained why the top they installed was different from what I had expected.  When I confronted the Randy, the owner,  about what I have discovered, he became very argumentative and defensive.  He eventually did admit to switching the granite. After pointing out that the final result was unacceptable due to the unauthorized substitution  & poor workmanship, I was able to get some of my money refunded.  In summary, the owner, Randy, switched the granite without telling me because he was trying to save money by using smaller piece.  This is something that should never be done.  Based on the fact that he is untrustworthy and delivered a sub-par product that I had not even selected,  I would advise against dealing with this company.  Avoid the headaches - there are several better fabricators in the area.

Several stores we went to looking for granite would only give us very small samples (or none at all). Granite Creations let us take home several nice sized samples and keep them as long as we needed. Other stores charged by the inch for the edging but with these folks had multiple styles that they did for free. They also included a nice stainless steel sink. They were prompt, professional and very easy to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We loved working with Granite Creations! We had looked at 3 other area contractors who provide granite, but Chad and Randy really are what made the difference on going with this company. Chad templated, had us come to the shop and mapped out our template on the granite slab with tape to show how it would look once it was installed. They spent over an hour with us to make sure we were comfortable with our selection. They went above and beyond to get me the exact granite I wanted, not just what was popular. We are now remodeling our office and called Granite Creations right away for our counters. I don't have to shop around-they have the best price, best product and best customer service of anyone we have worked with. You won't be disappointed with this company.

It is a family business. They came out, measured and made a template. They set up a temporary countertop when they took ours out. They had to disconnect the water, which was a little inconvenient, but we worked around it because we knew that we were remodeling. The product was ready to go when they came back to install it. It looked beautiful. We are going to go back to them for some bathroom granite. They said that if we use remnant pieces for the bathroom we would get half price because we are a returning customer, which we thought was a good deal.
